“Come to me….” she said in a gravelly  voice that made my skin crawl. “come…. to…. me…” I shook my head no as I stood frozen in fear on the sand slightly away from the dock itself.  There she stood, this walking skeleton dressed in her pirate garb…. There was no way I was going near her at all….. and then….. I found that I had become her….. the wind…. blowing me apart…

I woke to find myself covered in a cold sweat, my hands clenched against me as if i was trying to hold myself together….  *picking up a pen, I began to write*

Wishing You a Merry Christmas… And Gifts from LMD

I can’t believe that Christmas is tomorrow – I just can’t wait! And all these presents under the tree reminded me to tell you about the great advent calendar gifts available at Leri Miles Designs. There’s been a new gift every day since December 1st, and they’re all still available! Not all of them are free though, but many of them are, and none are over 100L. This mesh blouse and mesh high-waist slacks are both from the calendar; I love the bow belt and the cute candle design. My necklace and earrings are SEQUOIASTYLE’s Peace on Earth Hunt prize, and my sparkly stiletto pumps are the Joyful Christmas Hunt prize at Baby Monkey. My hair and skin are both from this month’s round of My Attic @ The Deck. The hair is ::Exile::’s Waiting for Tonight (how appropriate!) which comes with an elegant color-change tiara pin, and my skin is Glam Affair’s Renee Christmas Edition. Both were a bargain at 95L each! My Attic will be open until December 31st.

Oh my goodness… it’s a puppy! Since she came to me on Christmas Eve, I’ve decided to name her Nessie, from the Latin/Gaelic for “holy…” and also, she’s a little bit of a monster! 😉 Good thing I have lots of warm clothes for those late night puppy potty-training sessions!

Foolish Love Letters

Nordari ~ Living Well, Cheaply In SL

Who says you can’t live well in SL without shelling out a ton of Linden’s? Thanks to hunts, group gifts, store gift, MM boards and FabFree blog, I’m living just how I want in SL, very cheaply and beautifully I might add. Everything in the below picture has been free at one time in the last 60 days.

My Romance skyhome was the TOSL Hunt at Leezu. It has 3 rooms in it that are just the right size.  My Afterglow livingroom set Renee blogged and was also in the TOSL Hunt from Dreamscapes Art Gallery. My rug (6 different rugs), the hanging lamps (all shown), floor and table lamps (all shown) and the lonesome bird floor vase were found at nordari. The crate the items from nordari comes in is even decorative. My Just Awsome outfit is a store gift from EDELFABRIK blogged here and is still available. Even my avie has been basically free. The shape is a basic LL starter shape I have modified to suit me.

So, keep reading and hunting, you can also live well cheaply in SL.(if you hurry, you might be able to catch the skybox and livingroom set for free.)
