It’s that time of year once again, when there are hearts and cupids all around and the world is blissfully pink (ok and red, black, white, purple…)! Now, Valentine’s Day has not notoriously been my best holiday (I got dumped once, when I was 20, on Valentines Day.) but nowadays, the abundance of so many things pink makes me like it so much more!
It’s also the time of the year for another Shop & Hop. Squee! I actually got a late start with it and haven’t gone through everything yet, but I’ve got a couple of things for you to whet your appetite a bit.
As they say on Big Brother…. “But first”, I have a little something for you from Astralia. If you are one of their Very Important Unicorns, this super cute boba tea bear is the new free group gift. You have a choice of several sayings, the one I chose made me giggle so it was a keeper. The Astralia group is 149L to join. This came in very handy while I was running around Shop & Hop at top speed. I got very thirsty!

Welcome to my absolutely favorite time of year! I love the Fall. I love leaves and cool days and even the gray days of soft rain. Love it all. And The Autumn Effect Hunt is the perfect way to celebrate. Plus, it’s a FREEHunt! Both Prudence and WHCRiler have already shown you some of the great Hunt prizes from this Hunt. But with 79 stores in this years Hunt, I think we can show off a few more. 😉 This is the Autumn Sweater Dress from Dolle. It’s rigged mesh and comes with the five standard sizes. The details in the knit fabric make it for me. Every thing about it from the knit to the soft color is just spot on. The minute I saw it, I knew I was going to build a look from it. So on with the Hunt.
I picked up the boots from MOoh, one of my favorite quirky little shops. Again, the details of fabric and buckles just can’t be beat. The boots are unrigged so you can easily fit them to your feet… no special ‘feets’ needed.
Next had to be some jewelry. Once more we are spoiled for choice on this Hunt. But I settled on this gorgeous “Autumn” set from Blissiere. While I’m only showing you the necklace, the Hunt prize is actually a nice full set containing the earrings and a ring as well as the necklace. ( A little extra Jewelry note: I almost went with the lovely leaves necklace from 7 Mad Ravens so if you like Fall leaves as jewelry, check them out too! )
Rounding out my get up is the cute little leather clutch from Aurora. It’s a simple piece but I think that makes it classic! It has a hold animation built in that doesn’t seem to interfere with other AOs.

This too shall pass… this makes me think of sad things that happened in my life, and the emotions I had at that time… these words just describe the way I felt. I think these words are beautiful and really shows the emotions one might have when things are not as you want them to be…. and the only thing you can do is hope that it shall pass, so you can move on.
