I know sometimes I complain about this single life, but mostly I prefer it I think.  That being said, all the hearts and love around the grid give me a bit of FOMO, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be over that by next week.  😉

Mostly my FOMO has to do with a bunch of free gifts on the grid.  If you’re a freebie hunter, you know how it feels to miss a great gift.  I wasn’t about to miss out on these gifts in the Isle of Rowlyria Hunt, so here I am wearing the hearts.  This time, at least I’ve got a cat, purrrrs.  Beachy first talked about this hunt HERE and showed you some of the female/unisex prizes, but I’ve got ones for the guys so let’s go!

Man, I was so happy to be able to blog some QUIRK today!  I was at work and squealed when I saw on FLICKR that GATO was at Dove’s Dream, excited that I was able to put all this together looking so cute!  You may remember GATO from a blog post I did wearing the cereal shirt they have out at Palomma Plaza, as GATO is known for their super unique textures.  Now, the outfit I’m wearing was a purchase at Dove’s Dream but I’ve got some awesome free gifts to go with it!

First, the stockings.  Yep, another unique texture, and cool shine on these!  These aren’t just any old blue stockings.  They’re BOM so any body can wear them! Buy for 0L!

Second, the bag.  Mila Blauvelt does make some cool bags, and it’s not often you score one for free.  It comes with a metal hud and 2 different poses.  This gift needs the free Palomma Plaza tag to get it into your inventory.

Third, the hat.  Love.  I’ve got a million bunny hats, but none of them are a fedora!  Just the amount of funk I needed for this post.  This gift needs the free Palomma Plaza tag to bring it home too.

What an honor

I’m so glad Aline was able to honor Palomma with all her sunflowers in her post HERE.  There’s some people you never forget in any life, and Palomma is one of those people.  What a heart.  Great human behind that avatar.  It’s always an honor to pay homage to her.

I’ve lost my head….

A Shovel Full…

I knew better than to answer the phone at the crack of dawn… “Carson, PLEEEEEEEASE come shovel my snow.” The nice guy that I am gets dressed and heads over to Love’s house to dig her out. It’s a good thing I stopped at Free Dove and picked up some warm clothes. and yes, the FREE in Free Dove means everything is FREE! I picked out the People Puffer Jacket by Kaju and the Classic Blue Jeans by JZ For Men. I also picked up the Mosh Pit Combat Boots by Sn@tch. This is keeping me warm. I’m even working up a sweat.

The snow wasn’t the only thing that got brushed off…

As I’m hard at work shoveling, (proof provided in the picture above) Love is standing at the window, clutching a teddy bear and sipping a cup of coffee. All the while, I’m thinking about after I get finished, Love will offer me a cup.  I finish up and as I head for the steps, I hear “Looks good, Carson. Thanks!” and see the curtains pulled tightly together. I hopped in my old jalopy, (yes it’s running, today…) and changed out of my wet coat and into the Leni Roll Neck Sweater by Tiffany Designs, another FREE gift at Free Dove. I headed down the road and bought my own cup of coffee.  The next time she calls to be shoveled out, I’m grabbing this snow plow. To heck with the shovel!
