Happy New Year! I am celebrating in SL by hitting the slopes then chilling in the apres’ ski lounge. Snow looks much nicer from indoors. I can definitely declare there will be no avant le ski or apres ski IRL because I know healing from those ski injuries will happen much quicker in SL!

So, I finally got around to unpacking some Holiday Shop & Hop gifts. I found this snuggly outfit in the huge pile. This is the Shop & Hop gift from GGVG. Of course, it’s free. I can even wear it outside of the holiday season because the texture has snowflakes. It is perfect for those colder days. It has no name except for jacket & pants & boots. The name doesn’t matter; it is a FABULOUS look. The jacket and pants come as one piece along with the boots.

One of the gifts was from my favorite creator of SL hair, No_Match. The No_Empathy hair is a non-rigged head wrap with small braids. There are EVOX hair base layers included as well as a nice selection of hair and headwrap textures in the hud.

Hey Fabs!

Every year I do a NYE post, and it typically involves a glittery golden gown and long flowing locks and a ‘let’s party’ look on my face.  I’m always so ready to be out with the old, and in with the new.  Does that ever work out?  Not really, I don’t think.  We haven’t had a good year to replace a bad year IRL for at least a decade. In SL, life is always good, that’s why I’m here so much. 😉  I wore a short hairstyle, donned a black gown, and this year, let’s have the entire bottle of champs, shall we? We need a change!

Next!

Maybe if I’m not so hopeful for the new year it won’t disappoint me so much, so that’s this post.  I found the perfect items I needed for free on the grid to help me celebrate with apathy.  Of course, my outfit came from La Maldita Bruja!  She has a NY gift in her store called the Vesper set, and it includes this dress, the stole and a 2026 crown.  It comes rigged for:

The crown I’m wearing isn’t the one that comes from the Vesper set, but it is also a free gift from La Maldita Bruja.  It’s also on one of the panels in the landing spot and it’s called Lil.  Lil Gift.  I find it’s best to area search the names of these gifts in the store, since she gives us so many!  You don’t need any group to pick up any freebie in the LMB store.
