Hello there, Fabulous Readers!  Long time no see.  I’m soooo happy to be back again after an injury to my hand and wrist in RL required physical therapy and severely cramped my typing ability.  I’ve missed you and blogging for Fab Free!

We Dared to Chase the Rainbow

As soon as we got settled again in SL, Gus and I decided to hit the trail of the Carnival of Colors Hunt.  We were inspired to check the hunt out after reading Cre’s post here about a prize from Good Vibes.  This event has more than 20 stops and features finds with budget-friendly prices.  You have until November 30th to locate the colorful splats hidden around the grid and gather some fabulous hunt prizes.

Fallen Leaves & Frost

In my part of the world, the leaves have almost all fallen, the wind is blowing chill, and snow has made an appearance, covering the ground intermittently with it’s chilly embrace .  It’s beautiful, a little bit melancholy, and yet still an opportunity – in this case, to head indoors and make your space cozy and welcoming.

Autumn’s End

Exit Light

I saw that it is an anniversary round of the Disturbed event, so I headed over to look around. This is a pretty cool event and there aren’t gifts at every booth, but I’d say that there are enough to make it worth a visit for sure. I’m wearing these free things from Disturbed:

• Free eyes from Delicate Sins in four creepy colors as BOM, Lelutka applier, and Omega applier
• Free scarring on my forehead from brainrot which is beautifully done and extends up onto my head a bit more than you can see here
• Free “black goop” by MoC which is exactly what it sounds like and leaking out of my mouth and eye

It seems that some gifts require a group join and some gifts are free with no group needed. I don’t know which is which because I just joined the free Disturbed group and clicked away, ain’t nobody got time to activate and deactivate the group tag to see which gifts need it and which don’t. I can tell you with certainty though that all of these things are free.

The anniversary round of Disturbed will run until November 29th.

Sneaking Out The Back Door

Hey Fabs!  I felt like this picture was one you’ll see in homes all across the globe this holiday season.  You know, the moment when you tell your family you’re “taking a walk” when you’re really sneaking out to smoke?  I think it’s happened at every holiday gathering I’ve been to forever in my life.  I’m not about to stop now. 😉
