Lazing into Autumn

Fall has arrived in the Deep South. Every once in a while a tree finds some colors to show off and the weather can be anywhere between freezing & sweltering. I decided to take a break and catch up on my fav magazines. Luckily for me, MOoH! has a great new group gift out for November. In My Little Corner of the World

Well, it’s really a corner on Luane’s Magical World. It’s delightful. There are many, many magical things there. I found a spot where rats and cats get along and squirrels are gathering nuts for the winter. There’s a cozy blanket and pillows to lay back on.

I love this new group gift from MOoh! The Bibi Top and skirt come as separates with large texture huds for mixing & matching. I love that is has only one sleeve cause it’s perfect for our weather. An overlay for the sweater top is included but honestly, I haven’t figured that part out yet. And, the pleated skirt has a nice belt. Ya know, it’s all about the details.

Day Of The Dead

I find one of the most beautiful of holidays, is the one where we celebrate those we have lost.  All around the world, this holiday that originated in Mexico, Día de Muertos, is celebrated in many different ways, almost always including marigolds, Pan de muerto and sugar skulls.  Now THAT is a holiday!

I’ve lost two of my closest friends in SL years ago, my dear friend G who I joined SL with lived in Mexico and the other, my friend the Batman, was of Mexican descent.  Today, with this awesome free outfit from Byrne, I celebrate them and too many others we’ve lost along the way.
