I don’t have a lot to chatter about tonight, FabFree. Been doing some thinking and just reflecting today. Left me a little melancholy. Not too bad… just quiet and thoughtful. Ever have those days? When I saw S@bbia’s lovely Group gift it just seemed to speak to this mood. Vintage and sweet and… quiet. Does that make sense?

Another Free Mesh Body? Don’t Mind if I do!

Oh gosh Fab Free,  the surprises just keep coming…

A Free Body!

Welp, there’s a free Classic Mesh Body (by the makers of the Legacy body) over at The Shops.  And yes, it’s completely free.  AND YES, there is a free one for the guys too!  I couldn’t wrangle a gent on short notice to show you the body, but it is there!  Sources tell me that this body is designed to fit most TMP and Legacy clothes, but there will be classic clothes made for it in the future (thank you to Fab Free reader Jasmin for this tip!). To get this very generous gift here’s what you have to do:

1- Join the The Shops! group by copying and pasting this into local chat:    secondlife:///app/group/62324162-b5a6-3521-5c5e-f44fae20c4a2/about

2 – TP over to The Shops mainstore, and click on “get started”, then accept the experience (it should show up on the top right of your screen)

3 – It will take you to a choice area where you can choose Male or Female, click on your desired body

4- When you land at the next spot, turn around behind you and you’ll see “Classic Gift Edition”, it will deliver to you

I won’t keep you too long, I’m sure you’ll want to try to get in!  If you can’t, don’t fret – apparently this gift will be available until the end of April.  Have fun playing around!

Ladies and gentlemen, please put your trays in the upright positions we will be landing in NYC soon. Your cars will be waiting for you outside where they will take you directly to your penthouse suite. There you will find a spacious two-bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, full kitchen and large open living room overlooking the beautiful city of NY.

I logged in this morning to Onsu‘s FREE “Downtown” Skybox Subscriber gift which made my interior decorator heart jump for joy, while the other part of me cried a little because I just finished putting the final touches on my last house. Such is the way of SecondLife. I rather enjoyed the elevator entrance along with the entry hall included in the build. It was a lovely touch to add on. Also, the floors/walls/beams are customizable along with the city view itself so if you are a fan of light flooring or dark woods this is a great find!

Contemplation

 There have been so many lovely free builds recently inworld, that it’s giving me the itch to start decorating again.  There’s something relaxing about letting your decorating itch run wild in SL.  It can sometimes be fiddly editing things around the room, but in the end it’s so nice to have somewhere to call home inworld.  And when you get sick of it, pick it all up and start over.

Hisa has a House!

Hisa are giving their group members this adorable little “English Garden” shed.  It’s just so sweet and covered in riotous vines that I knew I had to have it right away.  It’s the perfect spot for thinking, or maybe painting!  Or maybe reading…or…perhaps just being.  I’m contemplating the day in my own little world, and I’m sure you’ll be just as relaxed as I am when you get yours.  Speaking of which, to get it, just join the Hisa group for 1L, then click on the vendor.  How very sweet!

La Vie en Pose is still continuing, and as I mentioned before, each booth has a free giftie for members of their free-to-join group.  I stopped by the Sweet Art booth, and they have this very lovely sitting pose which comes complete with a dasiy for you to contemplate the mysteries of the world.  Or you know, look cute and stuff.  La Vie en Pose is open until April 25th!
