I really like doing in-store hunts. They are fun, and generally don’t take terribly long to finish. Paper.Sparrow is having a Halloween themed hunt that you won’t want to miss. There are some nights when none of the pillows I own are comfortable, no position is restful, and my mind refuses to quiet. There are lots of remedies one could try for such sleeplessness, I however often use the opportunity to indulge in something frivolous like shopping in Second Life. This neat petty bun hairstyle is the most recent group gift at Pink Hustler. It comes with 3 color huds for lots of color options. This style by Pink Hustler also has resize scripts for easy fitting. There is a one time join fee of 500 linden to join the Pink Hustler group, however there is an entire wall of group gifts available including hair, nails, and accessories.
There is magic if you believe in it. There are also freebies galore if you know where to look. The current round of Hot Summer 35L Sales is an excellent place to pick up quite a few free gifts. You’ll find clothing, poses, and even some beachy furniture. Also, the items at the booths are either 35 lindens each or 50% off regular price. The event runs now through July 31st, and you will need to join the 35L Sunday group. However, the group is free to join. The hair and dress I’m wearing are both free gifts at the Hot Summer 35L Sales event.
The Hair
This cute pinned up hairstyle is a freeHot Summer 35L Sales event gift by DeVon. Just don’t forget that 35L Sunday group tag. The hairstyle comes in the single ash blond shade shown. I also want to mention that as far as I could figure, it cannot be resized, it can however be repositioned.
P.S. The DeVon Gift also includes a brown shoulder bag!
The Dress
This pretty little dress by Melt is another of the many free gifts at the Hot Summer 35L Sales event. It comes with a color change hud that lets you pick from 6 jewel tones and black, for 7 total color choices. It comes in several sizes, and has an alpha layer making it suitable for classic avatars.

The too-cute top I’m wearing is the 25 Linden Tuesday item at Paper.Sparrow. I also happened across the most recent group gift at Pink Hustler. I hope you love both of these fabulous finds.
The Paper.Sparrow Top –
This version of the 25L Tuesday tee at Paper.Sparrow reads “You’re so Pugly” across the bottom. There are several of the “Francis” tees in this style, each with a different graphic priced at 25 linden each for today only. Also, the shirts have a very cute shredded back which is perfect for summer. To get yours, just head over to Paper.Sparrow before the end of the day (I’m not sure if the promotional price will be available longer) and follow the 25LT signs to the vendor. No group is required.
Pink Hustler has this cute shoulder length hairstyle available as a free group gift for all Pink Hustler group members. What’s up Fab Free! I don’t know why I just said “What’s Up” like it’s 1997, but go let’s just go with it. I’m pretty sure Aline and I are on the same wave length lately. I stopped by the Anniversary round of Tres Chic also and picked up a few freebies that I’m excited to share. You can view her fabulous post here. For this post I’m sharing the free gifts from Ade, Sintiklia, and Elven Elder. You’ll notice most of the participating designers have a free gift waiting at their Tres Chic booth.

Hello hello Fabulous Fab Free’rs! It’s been time for a “Designer of the Week” style post for a minute now, so for today I’m happy to share with you BonBon. First, I want to point out that the grounds surrounding the BonBon main location are just beautiful. Definitely take a little time when you’re there to look around a bit. That said, BonBon is a cute little shop which mostly sells female hairstyles. The style of BonBon is very doll-like and cute, the term kawaii definitely comes to mind although there are plenty of hairstyles that could fit any look.
Along with the feminine hairstyles, you’ll find a few makeup items, and some equally doll-like clothing and accessories in gacha machines. Inside the entrance you’ll see the “circulation desk” as I call it, where you can access all of BonBon’s social media and the store group. Right now there are quite a few BonBon group gifts available, they are conveniently lined up on a shelf above the desk. You’ll also notice some of the gifts have a heart above them. One of those gifts is the current Fabulously Free in SL group gift, which you’ll likely recall seeing this super cute style in Aline’s post “Stay Safe.” There is also a free gift that is available exclusively on the Marketplace. Aline also showed us that gift in her pose “I Sparkle I Shine.” In addition to the gifts being displayed above the desk, the most recent of the gifts along with the Fabulously Free in SL gift are also available on the wall opposite the desk. To get the Fab Free group gift you will need the Fabulously Free in SL group tag. The Fab Free group is always free to join. For the BonBon group gifts, you’ll need to join the BonBon store group which does have a one-time join fee of 99 linden. So before I jump in to telling you about this awesome new gacha set by Oubliette, and a cool new group gift hairstyle by Pink Hustler, I’ll present to you a quote I’ve always liked.

The Outfit – Yep, you read that right, I said the gacha word. That means this too cool cami style top and the even cooler shorts are part of a super cool set that you won’t want to miss. The Hair – One of Pink Hustler’s group gifts is this shaggy mid-length hairstyle that I’m kind of in love with. The gift includes a color hud with what I’d call an “essentials” variety of color choices. To get your copy of this group gift hairstyle, you’ll need to join the Pink Hustler group. There are quite a few group gifts available, including hairstyles, mesh/bento nails, and a few other clothing/accessory items. The Pink Hustler group has a hefty, but worth it join fee of 500 linden.

Hello Fab Free’rs, I’m feelin’ a little nostalgic today. The new group gift hairstyle by No Match with it’s braided pigtails sticking strait out made me giggle, but it also reminded me of some of the female literary characters from my youth that I so admired. Girls such as Anne Shirley, Caddie Woodlawn, Laura Ingalls, and of course Pippi Longstocking all held a special place in my little-girl heart. I remember them being brave, intelligent, imaginative girls who knew who they were and what they wanted. It felt good to be reminded of them today. So inspired, I paired the youthful hairstyle with the striped sweater-dress Fabulously Free in SL group gift by Sevyn East and ran with it. I hope you enjoy this fun look as much as I do.
The Hairstyle – This hairstyle by No Match is their current free group gift. Called No Socks, it really made me think of being little and barefoot in the springtime. It comes with a full fatpack of hair colors, and can be resized. Also included are system layer hair-bases, and a set of mesh head hair-base appliers (Omega, Lelutka, Catwa, TMP). The Sweater Dress – I think it’s the stripes that made this off-the-shoulder sweater dress seem so youthful to me. It’s the current Fabulously Free in SL group gift by Sevyn East. I could also see it paired with some tall boots. It comes with a color/texture change hud that has 4 preset options, all of which are striped.
