The [Winter] Season Hunt

The Season Hunt begins today January 15th and ends January 29th.  So you have right at two weeks to gather all the goodies from Fabulous designers throughout the grid.  There are 65 stores participating in the hunt and no particular start or end location.  I will be sending out a list of the stores and locations to the Fabulously Free in SL group so please pick up a copy in the notice history.  Be sure to check the official Season Hunt blog for updates and more information.  Here are some of the items available in this winter Season hunt.

Life at the Alirium

Then my date turned into a pig…

Isn’t that how it always happens?  You’re out having a wonderful time, dancing the night away, then the damn thing turns into a wild animal!  Anyway, I saw the wild boar at Petunia I had to pose with it.  The black leather chiffon sequin gown is the newest group gift for Hudson Clothing VIP group members.  The dress includes two different lengths and even shoes!

Take a Change in Exile

I was checking through group notices earlier and found this black mini dress that was sent to the Kunglers Fashion Design group almost a week ago.  I love how the dress looks with the white cut-out leggings from COCO Designs.  The Jane hair is one of the 9 new gifts at Exile.  When you walk in you’ll find the fatpack gifts on the left wall.  The tan Ilayda skin is the grand opening dollarbie for Change.  Strike the pose with one of 4 poses from *hate me and eat me* for the Proposer Hunt3.  The Proposer hunt begins tomorrow and is filled with amazing poses and props from over 50 designers!  The picture was taken while on a stroll at Battery Park in New York.

Movin on to Lingerie

I have lots of lingerie to show you.  While perving the FabFree flickr I saw the white Ceem teddy set from Movin Lingerie and had to have it!  The lingerie set is a new gift in one of the lucky chairs.  There is also a sexy black teddy available that I’m still trying to win from the lucky chairs.  The letters change every 30 minutes.  Good Luck!  While at Movin Lingerie join the group and pick up the black lace babydoll.

Head over to Attitudes for 6 new winter lingerie sets.  The gift includes the Butterfly bra and thong set in black & blue and white & pink, Dark Lace bra and brazilian panties in dark red and purple, and the Cotton, bra and panty set with light and dark stripes.  There’s also a pack of three male boxers for the men at Attitudes.

The pose ottoman is a past gift from BehaviorBody.  This prop is no longer available (or at least I didn’t see it) but there are many other poses and props gifts available.

The skybox from Liquid Heat.  Attach the skybox hud and choose a scene then select the height you wish to rez the scene.  There is a version of the skybox hud free with a Deep Forest Glade scene, but I wanted something a bit more intimate.

C’est la vie!

I went lucky chair hopping all last night and came back with loads of goodies to show you.  My first stop was C’est la vie! where I nabbed the group charcoal grey bird flared skirt for group members.  After a lot of waiting I finally won the blue knit turtleneck sweater and brown corduroy pants from the C’est la vie! lucky board.  The denim Serenity heels are a group gift at Purrfect 10.

BUKKA was the next stop where I managed to win all three of the lucky chair prizes.  The mittens are an essential for keeping you warm on cold winter days.  I think the lucky chair has these in other colors, but I managed to win them in rose.  I absolutely love the wool amber poncho from one of the BUKKA lucky chairs.  Did I mention the buttons and collar of the poncho are changeable with the included hud???  I also won the Constellation watch in red.  This watch is a great way to talk your SO into waiting at the lucky chairs with you!  The watch comes in three sizes and the stone is color changeable!

I have to tell you I was a bit in shock yesterday when Khala informed me she had never been to Amacci!  There is a HUGE hair sale going on right now and hair is only L$85 per color pack!  This is an amazing deal.  If you’ve never been in Amacci, it’s time to discover this hair!

Mmm, I love a good sour pickle ❤

I was chatting with Renee the other night, and she told me that her significant other (who shall remain nameless) was working on cleaning his inventory. My inventory is a wreck. Seriously, it’s a disgraceful wreck. I could hear my mom in real life nagging me and telling me that my clothes would all just get up and dance away if I didn’t get my bum in gear and clean. Well, dear old mom is NOT allowed in my Second Life!!! So to get her out of my head, I started to work on organization. Surprise, surprise… I found things I forgot I had! Allow me to show you…

I found a house! 😮 Thinking back, I recalled coming across a store called Sour Pickles. I had forgotten that I’d slapped a midnight mania board there for an adorable little house. Maybe my mom has a point about being organized, but shhh, I never said that. I rezzed the house and immediately remembered why I had slapped that board. Of course, I had to go and see if that store was still there and it is! Store owners Xandra Bressig and Virgo Panacek have a lot of new items there now, and the store looks different, but you can still find this block house on the midnight mania there. 30 slaps required to lock it down, and only 29 needed at the time of this posting.

The house has two rooms: a nice cozy size room and a smaller room. There are three etched windows that you can still see out of, and the home is modifiable. There is no front door, which can easily be remedied, OR I thought perhaps this would make a cute and interesting little store for someone. To make this space look more home-y, I rezzed out my furniture from my regular skybox. This furniture is NOT free, but it’s a great value. Everything is copyable, and there are a lot more pieces to this set that I did not show. I bought it at MB-CreationZ and the whole 16 piece set is $825L. There are many fantastic, fairly priced items and furniture sets at Minke Bailey’s store, and I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t done so already. (**Note: The scenic view you see in the window is not a part of the house or the furniture set. It’s my own photo I took once and put up so that you all wouldn’t have to see the breedable horse butts that were pressed against the glass in ode to the moon!)

While I was bumming around Sour Pickles, I noticed a little gift box by the stairs. Of course, being the curious gal that I am, I inspected it. FREE GIFT! This cute mouth piercing is a charming but frustrating tease; sort of like dangling a carrot in front of a horse. I’ve got a nice cupcake in front of me, but my lips are pierced shut so I can’t eat it! It does make for an interesting conversation starter though. 😀

Take an adventure on the Paris Metro

There’s a fun little Spirit’s Wishes Adventure hunt going on at Female Tribe Exclusive.  Click the scrolls for the first hint and follow the path for great prizes from Paris Metro.  The low cut Golden Treasure gown is one of the hunt prizes at Paris Metro for the Spirit’s Wishes Adventure hunt.  The other Paris Metro hunt gift is the more casual Adventure Leather Patchwork pants and floral top.  The clues were a bit hard for me to find, luckily my useful boyfriend found them and tped me to each hint.  Thank you!

My Zero Style!

I saw this white down jacket on Carson earlier and I had the female version.  The jacket is one of the many group gifts available at Gabriel.  There are many more gifts to pick up, mainly male items.  The Kimi Mukluks shoes, knit tights, and denim shorts were sent to the Sweeter Than Candy sub-o members a few days ago.
