Hello again Fab Free’rs! I’m always happy you’re here. For this post I have three beautiful group gifts to share with you. So rather than my usual banter, I’m going to just dive right in. Hey there FabFree! The warm weather I have been having in my part of the real world this weekend, (and when I say warm… I mean +13 Celcius, and after the -30 we have had all winter – this feels like suntanning weather!) inspired me to put on a little spring outfit inworld.  You know me…  I always try to work something free in, and today it’s my shoes and skirt, which I will tell you about below!

In the Pink on Date Night

Valentine’s Day may be over, but the hearts still go on! ❤

Before Gavin and I headed out on our special evening, we stopped for a selfie, of course. I didn’t want to block his fabulous suit – which I’ll tell you about in just a minute – so I was happy to find this fun pose on by YKZ4 on the Marketplace for just 20L!

Men Can Shop Their Hearts Out, Too!

Love and Aline have already shown some awesome gifts available for the ladies at the Shop Your Heart Out Event, but guys, don’t feel left out. There are some fantastic gifts there for you, too!

Tres Blah recently set out a new group gift, and boy is it gorgeous! 😀

I know, I’m terrible at thinking up titles and headings. 😛

But I wanted to mention that Gavin and I both picked up the FREE gift hair from Exile at SYHO. The Adam and Jemma Valentine’s Gift includes a fatpack of colors for both the guys and gals. There’s even a Bento version of Jemma for you ladies who like some movement in your hair.

Cute Roses

Hi Again Fab Free’rs! I’m excited to share more of my finds from the Cart Sale going on at The Wash. Aside from the obvious allure of completely affordable prices, a big draw to the Cart Sales put on at The Wash for me is the opportunity to try out shops I’m not super familiar with. One such shop is Dark Water Designs. Along with some very cute casual ladies clothing, they had some casual menswear at the Dark Water Designs cart. I picked up the flirty fringe top, and a cute jogger set. Keep reading for the details!

A Rose by Any Other Name

This pretty halter top with the rose appliques and the fringe was too cute to pass up at the Dark Water Designs cart. It comes in one other color (sold separately). It also fits really well, and comes in many mesh sizes. There is also an alpha layer included with this top so it is suitable for classic avatars.

Additionally there are alpha layers for the jacket and pants so they can be worn by classic avatars. I love the detail in the lettering across the back. It really is very cute!

I’m sorry if that sounds harsh, but as years go, you were pretty awful. Honestly, I don’t even think you tried to be good. You got off to a lousy start and then continued to go downhill as the months went on.

Now that I’ve got that off my chest… let me tell you about the clothes!

Hey There Fab Free’rs! Thanks for being here. There aren’t many days of summer left, and as much as I love autumn, I always find myself dreaming of the beach. My love for the beach made the gifts featured in this post irresistible. Undoubtedly they are a bit on the fantastical side, however I’ve always enjoyed wearing non-traditional jewelry and accessories with everyday style clothing. Hello FabFree Readers!  As much as I love red.. and even green on occasion, I am getting a little tired of wearing red and green, and green and red!  I was really happy to find a couple of free gifts that were still holiday themed, but in different colours.  Today… I’m in black, gold and red!

Starting with my boots…

These very well made winter boots by Fri.day are red, black white and gold and are free (priced at 0L) under the giant Christmas Tree at The Arcade.  They are compatible with my Maitreya Lara body (I’m sure they’ll work with whatever you are wearing!), and include an alpha layer for those on the system body too.

My Nutcracker Pants!

I picked up these awesome Nutcracker Pants by Sn@tch for free in the Kittycats Advent Calendar.  These are compatible with system bodies and include an OMEGA applier.  A texture change HUD is included for several different colours, but I went with coal, because it showed the gold nutcracker design down the sides of the legs best. As Kathryn mentioned in a previous post…  if you are trying to stuff your pants into a pair of boots, appliers are really the way to go!

Five Years With FabFree! Where Does The Time Go?

Well, I can hardly believe it, but today’s date marks 5 whole years of blogging with FabFree!  For a little bit of a flashback, I went back in time and dug up my first FabFree Post.  If you’d like a little giggle from 2011 – you can find it [HERE].  Many aspects of FabFree and Second Life itself have changed in leaps and bounds over the last five years, but one thing remains the same for me…  It is still a real pleasure to log in and draft a blog project!

Hey there FabFree!  TGIF!  I can’t wait to get into my jammie pants and have a glass of wine…  Before I do that, I wanted to share news with you about a couple of things.

First, if you are a lucky board chaser, you should know that Cynful has six free group lucky boards with rotating gifts!  These boards are set to their inworld group, however it’s free to join.  My favourite prize out of the bunch of them is the Beach Dress in Baby Blue.  It is compatible with Maitreya, Belleza, Slink and comes in regular XXS – L mesh sizes.  There is even a HUD included that allows you to change the colour of the smaller stripe 10 different ways.
