I am totally giddy over all the FREE gifts at Shiny Shabby!

Also this table full of ice cream, it may still be winter outside but ice cream is a sweet treat anytime.

Its Shiny Shabby’s 1st anniversary and also every shop is giving a FREE gift no group to join. Love has already shown a few of them and we both still have more coming. My whole outfit today is FREE from Shiny Shabby. My cute mesh 1 piece top and skirt is from M.Birdy. I love the layered look of it and the mention of ice cream sent me running to get some. The fact its all 1 piece makes it an easy to grab and go full outfit gotta love that. My sweet Sarah Janes are from fri.friday. The are for Slink and Maitreya feet. Also included are a pair of socks I am not showing. These only work on Slink mesh bodies vs just the feet as there is no alpha and Maitreya. Last but not least is my wind blown hair from DUE. It includes a nice brown hair color hud. I do want to mention make a copy of this hair before you use the color hud. Here is why the hair when you 1st put it on is a lovely blonde shade but this shade isn’t on the hud so if you change it is gone and you can’t get it back. But if you make a copy you get to keep the blonde shade yay!

So many boxes so many gifts!

The Creators Colletion Box event (CCB) is having their 1st anniversary. You know what anniversaries means, pressies! Most every booth has a FREE gift, no group to join. There are things for woman, men and home. I collected all the boxes and headed to unpack them to find out what surprises they held. I put some of them together so you can see what awaits you.

Each item is FREE. My mesh Striped dress is from S@BBiA, its comes with just one size but it fit me like a charm so it may be fitmesh tho it doesn’t say so. My quirky red Ika squid earrings are from CX. My black bow ribbon choker is curtsy of  Kyoko Couture, a quick edit had it fitting my neck. The day is so windy my cute dot parasol gift from W-ZERO may get blown away, it includes a hold pose. Tho I am actually using the gift poses from J’dore instead.

Flower Child

Like groovy!

The Flower Power Fair has freebies and dollarbies.

  The overall theme is hippie, boho, 70s but you will find non retro items there too. Not all booths have gifts so look for the blue & floral present boxes. The gifts ranged from FREE to 1L. I am opting to show you some of the truly hippie flower child gifts I picked up. My wild cute funky glasses are 1L and from 187. My happy bright pink flower headpiece is FREE from Swallow. It even includes a version you can size since hair can be so fussy sometimes lol. I lucked out and didnt need to play with resizing. My little flower ring is 1L from IT! and includes a color hud with resizer. I did have to play a bit with sizing it down to fit my slink fingers but I was able to get a good fit. Ok I am gonna harsh your mellow a little bit, the Flower Power Fair is a huge event and you are gonna have to walk around. Its a landing point dealio so I can’t give direct tps to the booths. That being said it was worth spending the time wandering thru the event to find all gifts. The event runs til Feb 26th so you have time to do your walking around.

As soon as I tried on the goodies I collected I knew I needed to head over to Marketplace for the perfect tie dye shirt to pair them with. I kept coming back to this mesh tie dye shirt so I went for it man. I am totally stoked I did. It has a really fab vivid tye dye print which is just what I wanted. Plus its not just a basic tank its got a cool criss cross strappy open back. The tie dye shirt set me back 65L but I am not regretting it this outfit is totally retro and fun.

Some days nothing feels as good as a cozy robe.

Gothicatz sure knows this with their FREE Sweethearts short robe gift. No group to join just hang a left when you walk inside the store and there is a big display just waiting for you. This cozy robe comes not only in fitmesh but also Belleza, Maitreya and Slink fits. As you can see there is a small store logo on the pocket but it didn’t stop me from cuddling up in this cute robe.

You can wear this robe alone but I do have a sweet feminine bra and panty set on underneath which is a FREE group gift from M*Motion in their group notices. Notices only last for 2 wks and you have about a wk to still grab this notice before it disappears. The group is FREE to join. You get system layers and Maitreya appliers. The set gives almost a sheer appearance while not being sheer at all. This lovely set is going right in my lingerie drawer, its a keeper.

Droid Universe

These may be the droids you are looking for.

Twi’lef Pru’s post here totally put my sci-fi side into hyper drive.

Sometimes I get so used to being human I forget there is a whole other universe of possibilities out there.

I found these cool droids, DawnRanger and DawnViper Marketplace and they are FREE. The vivid colors and all the little details of these droids are awesome. All the pieces are included to transfer you into droid form. A shape is included which I found easier to use for a good fit. Also remember if you use things like eyelashes, slink hands & feet, mesh heads any of those extra goodies to remove all of them. You need to use a stripped down base system avatar. These droids were so much fun to play with. Plus if you have males friends there are also FREE matching male versions of these droids. You will also find lots of other cheepies at the Marketplace shop where I found them here.

Misty Musings

I have found myself in a bit of a thoughtful and musing mood today.

Walking along the misty shore in my lovely FREE Maiden of E’na Dorei Mesh Gown from The White Armory (TWA). This fitmesh dress is the group gift for this week and available thru Sat. There are also a pair if flexi sleeves and gloves included. This gown with its rich texturing and details is great for role players and those of us who just like to stroll thru a castle on occasion. My 2 hearts necklace is from the Vintage Valentine Hunt and costs 1L. You also have the option to buy it for 25L if you really don’t wanna hunt but its really easy to find so save yourself those lindens. The it! shop is the stop for this prize and the hint is “Well aren’t you the lucky one!”

I found these cool Gem Wing cuff Earrings by R.icielli for 1L on Marketplace. You get both right and left earrings. You can edit them for a good fit so they will probably even work with mesh ears.

This pretty FREE Marquessa Diamond pink set by EarthStones is lovely to have for your next formal event. The set comes in 3 separate boxes, necklace, bracelet and earrings. There are also several other gifts for you to pick up making the 250L group join fee worth it. You do have to take a long walk to get inside to where the gifts are don’t give up they are there. Wandering thru

I am just wandering thru to share a few treats today.

The Jack or Jill hunt (JOJ) is underway and runs til Feb 29th. There are 2 paths to follow Jack which is for the Guys and Jill which is for the Gals. Tho I will say I found some things in the Jack hunt that work for us Gals too so have a look at both paths. All the prizes are FREE. You can see all the pics here and the hints here. The nice thing is the pics go in order with the hint list. So the 1st pic goes with the 1st hint and so on. Makes it easy to pick and choose the items you want.

I made my stop at MOoH and used the hint “Cornered by the drapes” to find the pretty softly colored fitmesh dress I have on today. It has the feel of a watercolor print don’t you think. Included are sizes for system layers, Belleza, Maitreya and Slink all for FREE.

The colors in the dress also show off my new FREE Amour skin from WOW which is the Feb group gift. Pretty pink lips and a touch of pink eye shadow sets this skin off. You not only get the lovely milk tone I am wearing but 4 other tones as well with/without cleavage. Quench your thirst

I just couldn’t resist grabbing a few more of those FREE drinks over at the PurpleMoon Cherry Drink Hunt.

My top is drink #5 and my pants are #6. Both are FREE just wander around the PurpleMoon garden area collecting the drinks. No clues but this hunt is designed to be pretty easy so you won’t need any. The drinks aren’t hidden.

My Anika top is mesh and included 2 versions a solid and a sheer version which you wear an included system layer bra with. I was daring and used the sheer version. My Heather trousers are also mesh and come with the belt attached. These pants are rather long and didn’t work well with my flat feet and I am not sure how well they would work with mid ones either. They look best with high feet and if you want your shoes to peak out you probably have to use a stacked shoe. I actually have heals on and most times you can’t see them. Both pieces have a lovely shimmer and of course can be worn separately.

The PurpleMoon Cherry Drink hunt runs til the 28th so you don’t have to rush but why wait either!
