Fit For a Fairy Dream
The Anabella dress from Ruxy is well worth the time searching the Queens Garden sim. This halter-style mini features a plunging neckline, an ornately embellished collar, and a gathered bodice with draped ties. Its brown and rose-pink palette reminds me of a spring landscape. The skirt allows for ease of movement with a daring side slit. It’s just so pretty and feminine! A word of caution, the bodice is quite revealing, and you might want to use strategically placed hair or a plain body skin to preserve modesty. (I used the Ipanema Body Skin tattoo layer from Velour to keep the girls one solid shade). To add this beauty to your inventory, locate the pink “Blow Kiss” candy heart #3 and pay the 25L$ fee.

Anabella feels a bit enchanted thanks to the appliqued floral accents on the collar and waist. There are so many generous designers taking part in the Shop and Hop! Over at the Lex booth, I picked up my Starry earrings. These dangly baubles have multiple tiers and two tiny stars. Using the enclosed HUD, you can customize the accessories, but I thought the way they looked right out of the box was perfect for my outfit. I can almost hear the gentle tinkling sounds the earrings make as I walk around. Like my clothes, these baubles can be yours for free. Just locate the gift box and tap the vendor.
A Purr-fect Princess
For our final gift from the Shop and Hop, I must give credit to Gus. As we were wandering around the event, he suddenly froze and stood with his nostrils quivering. Once he zeroed in on a location, he was off, and there was nothing I could do but follow. At the SEmotion Libellune booth, he pointed to the Kitty Princess Companion with his tail wagging wildly. We named his new little sister Gracie, and she is just adorable! She has pink fur with white on her cheeks/chin, paws, and the tip of her tail. She has a way of mewing silently and blinking her eyes that makes me want to promise her an unending supply of tuna and toys. She comes with an animation HUD with three options; my favorite is when she “makes biscuits.” It’s just so cute! Like the other items from the Shop and Hop, the Kitty Princess Companion is free (but just be aware that you’ll probably fall under the cat’s spell and find yourself buying stock in a pet supply company). The kitten will follow you around on the ground, but I edited Gracie so I could hold her in a pose.

I think I found Toadstool in world because I saw an ad for a store named Fairiebum, and I wanted to go check it out. Fairiebum is a store for child avatars, with crayon face scribbles and Toddledoo clothes, not what I was looking for (but the stuff is super cute). Around the corner though, is Toadstool, a store I know well because they make all the adorable mushroom and flower hats I have blogged from Marketplace and events. So, wander in I did, and I didn’t leave disappointed.

Immediately in front of me when I walked in the store is a panel with group gifts. A quick check that the group was free to join, and I went shopping. 😉 I was reminded of a song I heard on an Indie radio channel at some point, and so I took my froggo friend to the forest in the moonlight for a song and a stroll. Every year, it’s always the Goldsquare calendar. Not only does she allow you to get past gifts, she fills this thing to the brim for the whole month! Generally, too, once it ends, the gifts don’t disappear, they just move to the gift room. You can currently pick up the last 2 years of Advent gifts there. The Goldsquare group is only 9L to join. Woah.
