Um… is this officially my first Holiday Season post? Am I throwing off the pretense of waiting? I’ll just say that I’m kinda slowly dipping my toe in, but I’m not quite in Christmas mode yet. Let’s just have some fun, ok, FabFree?
Black Friday!
The whole Black Friday idea is still a fairly novel concept for me, it wasn’t a thing in Canada until it crept northward a few years ago. The internet does that, I guess. Anyway, I’ll not say no to some random deals in the middle of November. I went over to Redeux where they’re having their annual Black Friday event, and each stall has gifts for their group members. I haven’t shopped the 25L Tuesday sale in a while but today this amazing dress from Faida caught my eye. I just love the lace and the way it drapes. The official sale list shows the dress in black because that’s the vendor picture, but for 25L you get to pick between blue, purple, and or scarlet shade. I was a bit sad at first because it’s quite lovely in black, but this red is pretty great as well. Pick one color, for 25L today.

I slipped into a sleek pair of high-waisted Jennifer Jeans from [By Beck] that I picked up for just 50L$ on the Marketplace. The dark indigo wash creates an elegant silhouette and contrasts beautifully with my hoodie. Subtle creases, where the fabric naturally flexes, add to the “lived-in” charm of the pants. The denim in the lower legs falls loosely, creating a relaxed finish. There are ten shades to choose from, each priced at 50L$, or you can buy the fatpack for 450L$. It’s hard to believe these pants have such a budget-friendly price!

I needed a gentle, natural hue for my lips that would add just enough color to brighten my face without overpowering the rest of my look. The “Look at Me” Lipsticks from Delicatta were ideal.
