I’m using my weekend off time to do some Hunting and I found this cute casual look I had to share. Thanks to the 1L ‘Key to my Heart’ Hunt from Perfect Seduction, I found a new to me designer : Kustom Kulture. And that’s where I found this great casual Valentine’s sweater. The ‘Off Shoulder Sweater’ comes in Mesh sizes XXS-L and includes appliers for Maitreya and SLink mesh bodies.
My cute purse is from Grumble. This is the heart Purse in red and it’s also on the Key to my Heart prize list. The details are really nice and smooth and it comes with a hold animation.
Greetings from the Arctic Circle! Well actually it’s the East Coast of the United States, but this weekend you can’t tell the difference. We are getting slammed with the white, fluffy stuff as I write this; and with some luck, I just might have electricity on long enough to get this posted!
Menstuff is, in my opinion, the best male hunt of the year. It is a 1L hunt, although some stores have opted to set their prizes out for free! The hunt object to look for is a dark blue T-Shirt shaped object. While they can be small, they are usually not hard to find.
The fantastic Trent Mesh Sweater in Charcoal from Rispetto Designs is where we begin the Menstuff coverage. This sweater has a heavy wool texture to help you look toasty, and the styling is simple and masculine. Click the above picture twice and get a good look at the texture. It’s marvelous! It is offered in five sizes for an easy fit. I found the Mesh looked flawless on me. Also, Rispetto Designs includes the Logoro Mesh Jeans in Blue/Grey in the Menstuff Hunt prize which are excellent and would be a solid garment to have building a casual wardrobe. They are realistically textured and come in five sizes also for a good fit. This is a prize that should not be ignored, especially if you are a new resident to second life! Items like these will have you looking great in no time and for only 1L!
As I said, I have been hit in real life with one heck of a snowstorm! It is extremely cold here, so when I saw the 1L Open Cardigan W/Shirt Menstuff Hunt prize from Hanauma Bay Clothiers, I had to smile. Not only is it super good looking and well made, but it is a mesh piece layering two sweaters! This is a beautiful one-piece Mesh featuring a cardigan style sweater over a pull-over styled one. Offered in five sizes, two of which are fitmesh, it will fit your avy quite nicely. Take it from me, the man wearing his entire real life wardrobe as he shovels the driveway, two sweaters are way better than one! Reminds me of the time I was driving down Lee Highway and a police car came up next to me. I heard the cop’s voice say, “Pull over!” I was so happy, I turned so he could see better and said “And a cardigan too! Hi-5!” It is always nice when someone notices a great looking garment on you.
I debated whether to include the freeBeautiful Dangerous Menstuff hunt prize, the Danny Sweater in Paynes Gray in this post or not. Truthfully, were I not racing a certain power outage, I would hold it for another entry. Why? There certainly isn’t anything wrong with the quality or the styling of this great sweater. No, it is simply that I felt the picture does not show it off as well as I would have liked. This is a beautiful sweater, masculine and simply styled to go with almost anything. It appears to be made of lighter material than the heavier texture of the Rispetto sweater, making it perfect when the weather is a bit on the cool side rather than a snowy landscape in the above picture. This is a sipping-brandy-by-the-fire kind of sweater and, as such, is very well executed. It is offered in five sizes for a good fit, and is a welcome addition to my wardrobe. The Menstuff Hunt is a 1L hunt but Beautiful Dangerous has put their hunt item out for free!
All these sweaters would be excellent pick ups and very solid parts of a male avy’s wardrobe. Menstuff has been an excellent hunt for me so far, ranking as the very best in terms of ratio of items kept, versus items deleted. It truly is time to start doing hunts and snapping up some quality goodies! I just noticed that the sound of my teeth chattering reminds me of the old manual typewriter I used to have long ago. Confession time I totally grabbed this whole outfit from The Beautiful Ones (TBO) just for the boots. I have to admit tho after drooling over these well detailed & textured boots I took note that the whole outfit is well made. You get the mesh dress, scarf and boots, each piece can be worn separately. The dress has system, Belleza, Slink and Maitrya fits. The boots don’t require anything more than system feet and have a resizer so they can work with mesh bodies. You have a few options of how to get this outfit. A. Join the group for 25L and the dress is FREE. B. Buy the dress on Marketplace for 25L. C. Buy the dress for 10L only at the TBO store location. Such a cute outfit even at 25L its a good deal.
