I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar

Happy International Women’s Day! On this wonderful day, may you be reminded of how incredible you are! Here it is 2025 and women are still fighting for equality. If you do an web search for International Women’s Day you’ll find all kinds of history behind this celebration of the fairer sex and numerous quotes about it. One of my favorites that you may have heard is “A strong woman doesn’t just survive the storm—she becomes it.” Let’s all band together to be a storm that brings about change.

All Together Now

Beachy started us off today with a post about a gift for the day. I have another gift that is completely free to get once you click on the subscriber. Inkdependent has a tattoo gift out by the desk once you enter the store.   It comes in 3 opacities and proudly proclaims, “Women, Life, Freedom”. It’s very well done and I am proud to wear it.

I traipsed over to Viona the other day to check it out (but I can’t remember why!). Anywho, I wound up joining the free group and scoped out the group gifts. There are five free gifts for the group behind the customer service desk. I picked out the Nicole Skirt & Top. Note that the adboard only shows the skirt. but the top is included. I love this vibrant shade of pink! As you can see there is a high slit in the skirt adorned with gold chains. I’ve seen similar outfits. This one’s fitted top has spaghetti straps so it is different from others.

I’m A Good Girl

I figured after doing so many cold and frozen posts lately I’d bring in a little heat 😉

I’ve had this dress from Viona for a few weeks now, but set it aside when similar pieces from other stores were blogged by Aline here and Starla here.  Each store has been able to put their own unique twist and textures on this gorgeous set, and Viona is no different!  The color hud allows you to change the top and the bottom, as well as the metal of the chains.  I pulled it out to blog because it looks amazing with this hat, and here we are!  You can head to Viona in world and join the group for free and pick this dress up for free, or if you’re limited in group space, you can get it on MP for 1L here!  It comes in a myriad of sizes:

As you might have guessed, my hat is from Poison Rouge and is the group gift for January.  Poison Rouge is known for their hats (as well as some amazing dresses and gowns).  They make a lot of hats for both men and women and I see no reason why this one couldn’t be worn by all the bodies.  Fellas, I want you to keep this in mind, because Poison Rouge often gives out gift cards at Shop & Hop events, you can use them too!
