The Wash Cart Sale is back, and this time they are celebrating their 10th Anniversary! The event actually begins tomorrow on October 11th, but many of the displays are already set up, if you’d like to sneak in a little early before the crowds!!
Whew! What a day… I had no idea being a lifeguard would be such a hectic job! I don’t think I got to sit in that cool perched lifeguard chair for more than a few minutes. Thank goodness I get a bit of a break now. As surfing and swimming causes quite a healthy appetite, the water clears out pretty quick at dinner. I just see him out in the waves… pretend flailing for the third time. I have half a mind to go out there and remind him about chicken little. He’s probably a better swimmer than I am… but does love to be rescued…
Yeah, I’m supposed to be dieting, but the one thing I do cheat with is a thick chocolate shake. I guy can’t live off of fruits and vegetables alone, right? I was told to take it easy but wasn’t told to stay home. So, I’m hitting the beach to relax and enjoy the view. From here, I can watch the waves, the boats the birds and the occasional bunny that passes by. 🙂 Today, I’m wearing more 10L finds from The Wash Cart Sale. As I passed the Emerald Couture cart, the Men’s Teal Tank Top and the Turtles Beach Trunks caught my eye. At just 10L each I couldn’t pass them up. Another Cart Sale find is the Sky Blue Summer Slip Ons from Roped Passions. I’m all about inexpensive footwear and there are several styles to choose from for just 10L each.

Getting comfy can sometimes be a chore in itself. I was lucky enough to come across the Cushioned Poolside Lounger and the Poolside Umbrella for just 10L each at the EC Designs cart at The Wash. The lounger comes with many poses to find that comfy spot you’ve been seeking. Soaking up the sun never felt so good.

You can pick up the Sage Poppy Base Set as shown on my avatar that includes the bikini top and bottom as well as the sexy sheer cover-up. Each piece comes in XS-L mesh sizing so finding a size to fit your avatar with little body alterations shouldn’t be a problem. The poppy print is just adorable and screamed out to me as my own real life garden poppies have just popped up to say “happy summer”! Included in the folder is a giant HUD that allows for 20 different colours, allowing you to mix and match all three pieces if you like.

These hot shorts come in mesh body specific sizes for Maitreya, Slink Physique & Hourglass, Belleza Freya, Isis & Venus, as well as TMP. I am wearing a denim floral print, but it also offers a camouflage option via an included HUD.
Who doesn’t need a pair of basic sneakers? These are keepers! for just 10L you can pick up the Woman Keds (resize), and they include a HUD for 10 different prints and solids. They don’t say exactly which feet they work with, however I am wearing my Maitreya Lara Feet and they fit with no adjusting. I imagine they would work with most feet as it includes a resize opton.

Silly me. I should pay closer attention…

I suppose I can’t really actually take the day off, but I can virtually go there on my lunch break and live vicariously through my avatar. What do you think? A visit to Spain perhaps? I have heard their beaches are lovely!

It was all inspired by this great little dress you can find at The Wash’s Springtacious Cart Sale by Ghee! There you will find the Leather & Net Micro Mini for just 10L each in 10 eye-catching shades. They are advertising it as a clubbing dress, however I don’t do a lot of that in Second Life and really liked the idea of using it as beachwear :). Well hello there FabFree Readers! As I was puttering around in the yard over the weekend, I noticed that family of cats has made a home in the shed. I’ll need to get them vet checked and find them good homes, but I think I will keep this little snuggly one for myself. I’m sure he won’t mind if I bring in just one more little pet, right?

You Won’t Believe It, But My Outfit Is 10L!
The Springtacious Cart Sale @ The Wash has begun and the streets are lined with 10L displays set out by some amazing designers from far and wide! I picked up the Becca Outfit that includes the jean shorts, tank top and plaid shirt ALL for just 10L on the Finale Couture display. In the folder you’ll find XS-L mesh sizes with co-ordinating alpha layers for each article of clothing.
Note: Wear a smaller size in the tank top than you do for the shirt so it doesn’t show through the outer shirt.
See? I don’t know how it happens… The goofy furballs just follow me home wherever I go! I found these little guys chasing eachother’s tails, bouncing through the snow drifts on The Winter Trace Sim while I was out for my morning walk today. One of them extra snuggly, and the other extra playful. I should keep them right? 😀 There is always room for two more, right Serena? (Serena always has my back in this department).
What’s Keeping Me Warm Today
I picked up these two little guys and snuggled them warm in my big comfy sweater (which is incidentally now completely covered in mud and white fur *sighs*) that I picked up as a free giftat The Wash Cart Sale! When I initially saw the Mimi Mesh Sweater Gift at the Tiffany Designs display, I thought it was just the sweater, but upon opening it, it does indeed include the pants too! Just pay the vendor 0L and this outfit is yours!
