Jacx told you the start of a story in one of her posts a few days ago about three girls. This story is ongoing.
In fact, Jacx is not the only gypsy wandering the grid right now. Yours truly is as well. I’ve even spent a couple of nights at the Fab Free Headquarters and as lovely as it is, it feels like staying at someone else’s house, like it’s nice and all, but you can’t wait to get back into your own bed.
It’s a strange feeling, since I haven’t been homeless in world since I first arrived those many years ago! I’ve been fortunate to always manage to keep at least a small roof over my head. Every night I lay my little avatar head down I think maybe tomorrow will be the day! Sigh.
I really do hate when things are out of my control. This is a big psychological challenge for yours truly! The longer it goes on, the harder it gets.

Both Juli and I have been fighting our way through the Twisted Hunt this past week. For all the frustration, there are some truly excellent prizes for this round. Such as the full suit I am sporting today. This is the “Shadow Seeker” ensemble from Roped Passions. I had first thought the purple was too lavender but it is a good classic purple and the subtle pinstriping in the black fabric makes it just that more handsome. The suit is one piece but it does not include shoes.

Demons manifest through arcane ritual and hell fire. What is this? Has the world been flung into a darkness where horned devils step into the light? Well, perhaps nothing quite that malevolent, however there are a few days left of the Twisted Hunt where you can find a lot of what Blue and I are wearing, as well as some of the demonic décor Blue used to create this fiendish atmosphere for free. The hooded top and side-split skirt I have on is the free female gift on the Twisted Hunt at Roped Passions. Sweet Revolutions
The free Twisted Hunt prize by Sweet Revolutions really has to be seen to be truly appreciated. This “Damned Conjure Circle” pose/prop is being used as awesome demonic background imagery in my photo, however it has 4 poses included.
Pendulum Group Gift
Last, but very far from least, I simply couldn’t resist this group gift at Pendulum. The gift includes the delicate almost snowflake-like face gems/tears I’m wearing along with optional side embellishments worn near the temple. These pretty gifts come in 3 metallic colors. The Pendulum/HCXII group has a one time join fee of 100 linden, and there are several group gifts available.
Sometimes that moment right before a kiss is just as exciting as the kiss itself. I got the chance to spend some quiet time with my handsome guy, needless to say the beautiful atmosphere at The Village of Ahiru lent itself nicely to a romantic moment or two. For our little date-night excursion Blue and I wore the free Medieval Fantasy Hunt gifts from Roped Passions. Keep reading for more info about each of these fabulous free gifts, and one extra not part of the hunt.
The men’s and the women’s Medieval Fantasy Hunt prizes at Roped Passions are packaged together. As previously mentioned, the MFH is a free hunt so the prizes won’t cost you anything. The hunt object is a little potted bonsai tree. The men’s gift is the cool Asian print shirt Blue has on, while the women’s gift is the long floral print dress I’m wearing. It also has a high slit in the front that can’t be seen in the above photo.

I must have taken a wrong turn in Amsterdam somewhere. I ended up in this salvage yard while I was trying to hunt down Gavin to tell him that Serena had gone out for a horseback ride in the country. I was sure it was just down that street there but sure enough I ended up here on the wrong side of town in front of a van that looks like its straight out of a Scooby Doo cartoon. Not that I mind sight seeing mind you. I’m still trying to find Gavin. I think he went shopping for Friday deals. I wonder if he got anything good?

Now this might seem steep for a group join, but every month I visit the store and pick up my 100L in-store credit (plus I get access to the lucky letter boards that change out monthly too… I just happened to snag a shirt off one of those boards while I was there, and I might show that off in another post). So I had saved up my credit for the last two months and had 200L to spend.

It’s December, it’s December! And I decided to visit Santa’s workshop and check out what the elves are up to. I caught this cute little red-headed one making and wrapping up toys already and I couldn’t help but get in on the fun. And I found some great gifts of my own to share with you too!

They are unrigged mesh so they work with any body, you just need to hide your feet. I really love them and they are so versatile! They have just enough sheen to them to make them really sexy!

If you haven’t checked out the Sexy Christmas Hunt, you should. For just 1L I picked up this Tartan Bralet from Trashed as part of that hunt. It’s a cute little number that I just fell in love with. I’m not ready for cold weather. It got nippy here where I live and then the weather warmed up yesterday and it prompted me to look for warmer clothes in Second Life too. So I was really pleased when I saw that Kom‘s November group gift was this really pretty (and versatile) short skirt. It comes in all your favorite body sizes and includes a color change hud with 7 colors to choose from as well. I was partial to this teal color which I paired with a blueberry gift top that I blogged a while back that you can now get on the marketplace for just 1L.

I wanted a little something extra to go with my outfit so I stopped by The Forge to see what was available. Sometimes in-store gachas hold sweet surprises. I discovered the Boadicea’s Necklaces and really liked the celtic look and fine detailing on them. I gave the 50L gacha a spin and pulled one of the commons in “rust” which matched my outfit very nicely. The rares were quite beautiful as well and would be worth a few extra pulls to try to nab one at just 50L per spin.
