My lovely dress is the newest group gift at Eternus. There’s a wall of really great free group gifts there and some lucky boards too. The group is 200L to join. I love how versatile this gift is. It’s the weekend! This summer seems to be flying by, I feel like I’m quickly running out of weekends. Better soak up the sun, sand, and popsicles while I’ve got the chance.

I’m wandering the streets at night, all for the freebies! Somebody’s gotta do it.

In The Dark

I guess I should no longer claim to hate hunting. I’m still awful at it, don’t get me wrong, but I’m also clearly not averse to going on a hunt. Case in point, besides all the Easter hunting that I’ve done recently, the Hunting In The Dark Hunt that I partook in recently at V8 Underground. There are 20 prizes scattered about. Each contains a complete outfit including shoes and will only set you back a cool 10L. You’ll find some hunt info at the landing point, including a list of hints and an example of the little statue guy that you’re hunting for. I’m wearing this fun and sexy burlesque-esque (how’s that for a made up word?) outfit that comes with the top, shorts, and boots all as separate pieces! I’m a big fan of when creators do that. It is prize #4 on the hunt and is totally worth 10L. The hunt at V8 Underground is currently underway and will last until May 12.

Some Things Never Change

I did some weekend sale shopping and I picked up new hair. Some things never change, indeed. I quite love this super cute bob…or maybe it’s an inverted bob. Either way it’s cute cute cute with the short sassy layers and those perfect little clumps over the eyes that would drive me insane in RL but I love so much in SL. Anyway, the hair is from Wasabi and only 60L this weekend for Happy Weekend. It comes with an impressive array of color options and a flower decoration on the side that I currently have turned off. This was only supposed to be available for the weekend but as of now it’s still there at the discounted price. Better hurry!

Taking My Own Advice

Lastly, I’ve taken my own advice from this post and am wearing another of the group gifts from Chain. They are honestly all just so nice. This necklace is called Loren and it has a HUD that lets you turn each of the three necklaces off or on and provides some metal colors to choose from too. It comes rigged for Legacy, Maitreya, and Unrigged. So I guess this is just another reminder from me that Chain has a wall of really great free group gifts and the group is only 50L to join.

I hunted again. Of my own free will. And I enjoyed it. I hardly recognize myself! Either I’ve changed or the hunt at Havoc is really great, or both!

I’m quickly becoming a fan of Havoc. The group is free to join and there are gifts, plus the stuff there is really nice. And now, Havoc is having a free Winter Wonderland Hunt. You are search for 32 gifts hidden all over the sim, inside and outside. When you find one you just need to make sure that you have the free Havoc group activated, click it, and it’s yours for free. The gifts are all kinds of things and not holiday or winter themed so you’ll get an assortment of really great stuff.

Sweeter Than Candy

This whole thing I’ve got going on today makes me feel as sweet as candy! And what’s even sweeter is that SO much of it is made up of gifts.

Anthem

First, to the new round of Anthem we go. Upon landing there is not one but TWO decorated Christmas trees with presents piled under them.  From what I can gather, most of the gifts are either 25L or 50L. What a bargain! Here are a couple of the things that I couldn’t slive without.

• My hair is by Wings. It is a pack of whites, silvers, and blacks with a style HUD for just 50L.
• And the peppermint drink I’m holding is by ChicChica and of course includes the bento hold animation and even a decor version. I couldn’t resist that pink and shiny goodness for 50L.

A new round of the Posh Event has opened and there are giiiiiifts. You know the drill, join the free (Posh Event) group and then collect free gifts at each (most) of the designers’ booths. There’s lots of good stuff. I’m showing LouChara’s free Posh gift today. It’s a lovely Christmas tree and present pile. Oh. Em. Gee. The advent calendars. There are so many of them. It’s enough to make your head spin, but Aline is keeping us all on track with the mega listing here.

Nothing gets me in the mood for Christmas like an advent calendar, and it’s heartwarming how many designers have committed to handing out days and days of presents. I’ve been trying to visit at least a few each day and one that I’ll be sure to never miss is Salt & Pepper.
