Sweeter Than Candy

Sweeter Than CandyThis whole thing I’ve got going on today makes me feel as sweet as candy! And what’s even sweeter is that SO much of it is made up of gifts.

Anthem

First, to the new round of Anthem we go. Upon landing there is not one but TWO decorated Christmas trees with presents piled under them.  From what I can gather, most of the gifts are either 25L or 50L. What a bargain! Here are a couple of the things that I couldn’t slive without.

  • My hair is by Wings. It is a pack of whites, silvers, and blacks with a style HUD for just 50L.
  • And the peppermint drink I’m holding is by ChicChica and of course includes the bento hold animation and even a decor version. I couldn’t resist that pink and shiny goodness for 50L.

The current round of Anthem lasts until December 30th.

Lucky

My dress is a lucky board gift from Eternus. I stopped by to pick up the newest group gift (some nice heels, grab those too if you haven’t) and won on two of the lucky boards immediately! Talk about lucky. The Eternus group is 200L to join and the dress comes in sizes for:

My Aim Is TrueYou guys, it’s happening! The Black Friday sales are starting! Let’s all try to take deep breaths and pace ourselves. With a bit of caution we can make it through this shopping season with a few remaining L…maybe.

Unrelatedly, I’m not quite sure what’s happening in this picture. Sometimes I’m not sure if it’s me or Miss Tobias who is in control here. I was about to snap a perfectly normal picture and right as I did she made that face. I couldn’t not use it. It’s too strange and wonderful. But enough about facial expressions and poor photography skills, there are Black Friday sales and freebies to discuss!

So Close

Firstly, we need to talk about Eternus. There is a new free group gift in the store and it’s this lovely Alison skirt that is so close to being something that I can pretend is named after me. But alas, it’s an L short. But wait, there’s more – the Eternus group is currently free to join! I can’t remember how much it usually is, but it’s free right now and that’s what matters. Once you join, there is a whole wall of free group gifts to collect.  The cute tied choker that I’m wearing is a example of one of the older but still awesome free group gifts. While you’re there, the entire mainstore is 50% off except for new releases. The sale and temporary free group join both started today and will last until November 30th.

Okay, technically this is against the FabFree rule of blogging items that are 75L or less, but the entire Magika store is currently 50% off! Magika hardly ever has sales so this is a really big deal. Originally the sale was only supposed to last through the 20th but I read that it’s now been extended through the end of November. You don’t wanna miss this!

Love it, Live it

I’m starting to feel a little less guilty about being excited about Autumn.  You must admit that it is really the best season for a great many reasons.  It’s still lovely out, the trees are insanely beautiful, and the food and drink is pretty top notch.  Plus, there are some awesome celebrations, right?  I’m having fun with a cup of what I like to call “98% sugar”… a French Vanilla from Tim’s, which is literally the only kind of coffee that I will allow past my lips because it tastes nothing like coffee.  Hey, I’m a wimp.  At least I own it.

To Orsy We Go!

Today is one of those days that calls for comfortable, yet sexy clothing.  It may be a day of rest, but one does often want to be cute when one is relaxing.  I think I need a few treats today too, just to fortify my spirit for the upcoming week!  What about you?

Sunday evening is looming at me, my dear friends.  Do you get that Sunday night feeling?  The niggling feeling that Monday is coming and you forgot to do your homework or something like that.  I get it pretty acutely these days, so I’m eschewing reality with a firm hand again, and playing dress up, as per usual.  I’ve got some gorgeous free items to show you tonight, so I’m sure your icky Sunday night feeling will also be staved off for at least a little while.
