Ydea is a freebie clothing hunter’s paradise for both men and women.  Every month there are new group gifts for both sexes and the group is free to join.  Better yet, the previous group gifts stick around for awhile.  There are two whole walls full of outfits, one for men and one for women, that you can pick up for absolutely no charge at all.  Ydea’s new April gift, the Tropez shorts outfit, put me in a warm weather mood, so I ambled over to the Tiki bar to get a picture of it for you.  The outfit comes with a mesh overshirt, shorts with sculpty legs, and mesh sneakers.

And how about this little beauty?  I’m talking here about the outfit, not the car.  If you happen to own a white sports car you can find the perfect outfit for cruising around with the top down on the Ydea past group gift board.  The Grant outfit includes pants layer dress pants, black buckled sculpty shoes, and a blue mesh jacket with open collared shirt.

Another good place to find free men’s clothing is Resun.  Resun specialzes in outfits with a bit of a European fashion flair to them.  In addition to the regular group gift near the entrance, there are group freebies scattered among the regular-priced items (you just have to look for them) and there is a separate discount area with lower-priced older items.  The outfit I’m showing here is the Roby Group Gift (free to join) featuring traditional clothing layer leather pants and shirt with prim collar and cuffs.  I’m also wearing low black casual shoes from Gabriel (former hunt gift) and Gabriel’s Unisex Body Bag (free group gift, free to join).  The free body bag group gift also comes in cheetah and camouflage fabrics.

Would You Like To Join The FabFree Writing Staff?

Heads up Fabulouses! Fabulously Free in SL is currently seeking new writers to join our team.   Experience working with WordPress and SL photography is not required, but is an asset.  Photography and blogging skills are things that can be learned along the way, but passion for sharing freebies and helping others inworld is a must!

FabFree is the oldest freebie blog in SL. The blog was started in September of 2007. We have grown tremendously since then and reach thousands and thousands of readers each day.  Our inworld group sits around 21,000 members and our designer list is growing by the day with almost 800.

To qualify you must:

a.) Be a loyal Fabulously Free in SL inworld group member.  You will be required to help moderate the inworld group after three months of participation.

b.) Be willing to search for items to show in your posts.

c.)  Commit to at least 5 posts per week.

d.) Be willing to blog FREE items and items under 75L.

e.)  Participate in the FabFree Photo Challenges, Fabfree Designer of The Day and Fab Advice.

f.)  Be team orientated, and work well in a group.

g.)  Respect our blogging guidelines.

As writers for Fabulously Free in SL, we take pride in leading the group and helping members find free and inexpensive quality items throughout SL and you should as well.

Becoming a FabFree writer means more than just blogging, you become part of our family and team.  As FabFree writers we should work well as a group, have open communication, and feel comfortable with one another.  We are looking for the right fit.

First I want to take a moment to give a big thank you and shout out to Lena, one of our amazing FabFree readers and group members.  She im’d me today with a very helpful heads-up about one of the items I previously blogged.  Lena, thank you so much for being that extra set of eyes…we do sometimes miss things in our posts and it is a blessing to know someone has our back!
