Moda Spring Sidewalk Event

Hello my FabFree lovelies, I’ve missed you! The good news is I’ m back, the better news is I have tons of things to share with you! Having been away for so long, I’m having a bit of a struggle to get back in the swing of things. There is always so much going on in the world of Second Life.

Just to ease back into things, I wanted to tell you about a little Spring Sidewalk Sale and Hunt going on at the Moda main local. Right now you can head on over and browse through the booths of several participating vendors all showing off their Spring best at awesome prices. In addition to some great shopping, several of the vendors also have “Easter” egg gifts for you to hunt. I really enjoyed browsing through everything and picking up the brightly colored eggs along the way! So, what I am gonna show you are just a few of  my favorites, though there are lots of gifts to be had. I also picked up a new dollarbie from Nail Me!, I think I might be a nail polish addict… lol Enjoy!

ALB Dream Fashions New Group Gift

How awesome is this vibrantly coloured beachy mesh outfit from ALB Dream Fashions?!?  It’s simply perfect for the hot SL days ahead!  The LEELA – Jil outfit is actually a free group gift if you can believe it, and it’s all yours after joining their free to join inworld group.  It includes several pieces such as the top (which comes complete with bottoms if you’d like to take a swim!), boho skirt and also a pair of cute sandals (hidden under my skirt lol).

Bat Girl saves Gotham in Yasum, Cheveux and AD Creations!!

While out saving Gotham from crime, Bat Girl and her bat puppy spotted some fabulous FREEBIES!

AD Creations Doll House just sent this funky one shoulder asymmetric mesh skirt, materials enabled top and patterned tights to their group members; featured in pic #1.  The group is FREE to join and you will find the gift in the past notices.  In pic #2, I replaced the AD Creations skirt with the Kira Skirt – Rigged mesh from 7Five Discount Room…FREE on the marketplace!

Feeling sassy!

So, the Easter designers hunt has started, and it’s a bit different from your normal hunts. In this one there are only 4 shops: The latex station, Naughty & Nice, Edelfabrik, and Sassy, and each of these shops has 10 gifts out, just waiting to be found! The hints and landmarks in each hunt gift lead you back and forth between the 4 shops until finally you have all 40 prizes! There are some truly fabulous gifts from all of the designers in this hunt, but I’m going to focus on a few of the gifts from Sassy!

My first outfit is a combo of gifts #25 and 28, the Tribeca leather pants in gold, and Gramercy leather corset in Ivory.

Second, we have gift #4, the Coquette dress in blue. This dress could easily be dressed up for a date, worn over a swimsuit at the beach, or paired with some cute sandals for an afternoon picnic!

and finally, if you’re looking for something a little sexier, I recommend gift #7, the contour dress in olive! This dress looks great as is, but I could definitely see it looking just as great over a pair of jeans with combat boots! Never be afraid to experiment with your fashion!

If you’re looking for another fabulous freebie, then I recommend checking out Little bones‘ newest group gift. The black magic hair comes in a FULL fatpack of colours, meaning you get it in every single colour the shop makes! The group is CURRENTLY free to join, however, it is normally $L250 to join. I definitely recommend grabbing this while you can, and staying in the group because the gifts are not only lovely, but they are extremely frequent and generous.
