Hello again! I’m back, and I have a some great gifts to show off today!
First off, let me ask, who all is excited about the Womenstuff hunt? *raises hand* I got a sneak peek at the free hunt gift you will be able to grab from JK Trends, starting on March 1st, when the hunt officially opens. The jewelry set I have on in this first close-up picture, is called The Line, and I think you can see why. It’s a pretty, simple, and classy gold set that includes a necklace, earrings, bracelets and rings. All pieces, except the rings, are scripted for resize, and the rings are set with modify abilities, so you can fit them to your hands more easily. Once the 1st rolls around, you will be looking for that familiar red tee-shirt object, and I don’t think you will have too much trouble 🙂
Don’t let the start date of the hunt hold you back, you should head over to JK Trends right now anyways, so you can smack the subscribo, as a new gift was just recently sent out. The gold jewelry set in this second close-up is what you will receive. This chunky, bold set, is called Lara. Just like the Line set, you get a necklace, earrings, bracelets and rings. Each piece is script resizable, with mod versions of the rings, as well as rings sized for hands of Bellezza, Maitreya, and TMP bodies, so, few adjustments are needed for those guys, if any. If you do not get this free gift delivered right away once you’ve slapped the board, you can go into the history and find it in the last post dated Feb. 27. Oh, and make sure you look a little further back, there’s a lovely dress gift still in there, last time I looked.
In my excitement over the Womenstuff hunt, I decided to go take a look over at the ‘stuff lounge, to see what gifties for Womenstuff group members, were available. I picked up the pretty dress I have on in these pictures, called Chloe, and it’s from Wicked. It’s a mesh dress, in all the standard sizes, and I think it lends itself so well to showing off great jewelry, especially longer necklaces, with that plunging deep-v. Hello again! I said I’d be back with a second footwear post, didn’t I, so here I am! Are you loving all these shoes being shown, I sure have been. My shoe folder in my inventory is over-flowing. Now, I really could have put this grouping of shoes I’m about to show you, in with my first post, but I thought, since this post will be a one-stop shop type thing, I’d keep it separate. So, let me get right to it.

Ahhh…December. You know what that means? I can finally start posting things that are holiday themed! Bwahahaha. Oh wait, did I laugh out loud? OK, I just mean that I love this time of year in SL. So many wonderful gifts, and great deals to be found. Not counting my skin post for FabFree’s Free Skin Day yesterday, I figured my first official December post had to have something Christmasy. In fact, It’s a perfect Christmas party look. Let me tell you what I found.
How cute is my hair? I totally ‘Oooh’d” when I saw the display for this new group gift from Venus. Noelia is a rigged mesh, hair and Santa hat combo, that comes in black, blonde and red. You get a regular version, and a Lola’s version of each colour. The gift is free for group members, and the group is free to join. I really like the added touch of the little red bows tied into the hair, and I don’t know about you, but I am always the first to don a Santa’s hat at any Christmas party.
Now, no party outfit is complete without something sparkly! My pretty caged stone necklace and bracelet set (of which I missed getting a close-up shot of the bracelet, doh!) is a free Womenstuff gift at the ‘Stuff Lounge, and it is courtesy of Glint. The stones are texture change by touch, as well, you can resize the pieces in that same menu. There are lots of colour options, so you are sure to match any outfit. The Womenstuff group is L$50 to join, but if you are at all familiar with the ‘Stuff Lounge, and the amount of gifts always available for members of the Womenstuff group, well, you know that it is completely worth it. Just make sure you have your tag on when grabbing your gifts.
Do you see those crazy eyelashes I am sporting in that picture of my necklace? They are pretty fabulous I must say. Perfect for a party. My mesh, Inverted Crown Party lashes, are a new group gift from Maxi Gossamer, and I don’t think I ever want to take them off. I will warn you, you do need to be comfortable with editing linked pieces while they are being worn if you want them to fit your eye shape perfectly. It is well worth the effort though, as they are one of the best fitting sets of eyelashes I have worn. The Maxi Gossamer group is free to join, and you can grab these once you have your tag on, for free!
The final piece to my party puzzle was a beautiful mani and pedi. I just so happened to find that while poking around the The FAD Fashion Event, which has the theme of ‘All That Glitter’s’. At the Zalea booth, you will find the lovely shimmer nail appliers, for SLink, for only L$25. Needing a little green to go with all my red, I chose a rich, dark green shade, however there are 8 colours total to choose from, no matter your shade preference. Oh, and in case you happened to be eyeing up my dress and shoes, they can also be picked up at the Zalea booth, for L$99 and L$85 each respectively. The colour hud’s for both include colours that just so happen to match the nail appliers perfectly. Funny how that happened, isn’t it 😉 . The FAD Fashion Event runs until December 23, but don’t wait too long, December has a habit of ending before you know it.
So who’s ready to party? Sadly, I am going to just have to party by myself for now, as there are no parties in the really near future for me, they are all closer to Christmas. I’m sure my cats would join me now though, spike their milk with a little catnip! OK, now this is starting to sound like fun. You do remember I’m a crazy cat lady right? LOL. So, I’ve decided to let Shamic do a post tonight since I had already done 2 for myself earlier. Plus, there are some great men’s things available right now with the Men Only Hunt 5 going on. I also suggested he head over to the ‘stuff Lounge and see if there were some goodies to show off.
So, Shamic made a few stops from the Men Only Hunt list, which you have to get from HERE, as there are no LM’s in each hunt prize to send you to the next location. Luckily, the list also includes hints, which made the prizes a little easier to find. When I saw DuckNipple on the list, that was the first place I sent Shamic too, as I knew there would be something good. Neither of us were disappointed. The long-sleeved, striped sweater he has on is their hunt gift, and, as with all of the gifts, it was free. It is mesh, and comes in 2 fitmesh sizes, as well as 3 standard sizes. Shamic is a standard medium, but he had to go with the small, as they fit a little on the large size. The other hunt prize he’s showing off is from MINA Hair. His Alex knit toque and dark brown hair combo is their hunt prize, and you actually get 2 different hair versions, as well as the hat without the hair, meaning this is easily a unisex prize. It also comes with a HUD to change the texture of the toque. When hunting for MOH5 prizes, you are looking for a tall glass of beer 🙂 . It made me thirsty! LOL.
After clothing himself in his new finds, Shamic’s trip to the ‘stuff Lounge rewarded him with a new pair of sneakers. These multicoloured chucks are from Citrus, and are a free MENstuff group gift. The MENstuff group is L$50 to join, but the gifts from the different designers are always getting switched out, so there is always good stuff to grab.
