There’s a Little Witch in All of Us

I love to create a witchy look sometimes, even if I’m not wearing a full witch outfit and broomstick. After all, everyone has a little witch or wizard inside them waiting to come out, right? I know I’m still waiting for my Hogwarts letter!

We’re Almost Fifteen!

We’ve been hinting, we’ve been teasing… and it’s coming…. FabFree at Fifteen is just around the corner!  Our 15th Anniversary celebration is set to kick off on July 9th!  Can you believe this lovely little blog has been around for 15 years?  That’s so amazing!  It’s been handed down from organizer to organizer over the years, from way back in 2007 with Cherlindrea Lamont on through the years to the illustrious Love Trill who made FabFree what it is today, and on to moi.  I’ve been so honoured to carry the FabFree torch as organizer for the last two and a half years, and I’m excited to celebrate this magical little corner of the internet with you all.   Again, it’s not kicked off quite yet, but there are already some ways you can celebrate with us!

Party Dress First!

Toss it Everywhere

Mmmkay, so you guys know that Ms.  Kim of Kim’s Kreations is just about the most generous person you’ll come across.  She is constantly sending her free gifts out into the world!  She’s one of the designers taking part in FabFree at Fifteen (coming soon!) and she got so excited about the event that she went all out and made a BUNCH of FabFree-inspired decor to celebrate.  There are cupcake chairs, cakes, top hats, champagne…. and so much more.  It’s honestly so much fun and rather dizzying!  These giant balloon and champagne buckets actually deliver a champagne glass when you click on them, which is pretty awesome.  Best of all, she’s put all these amazing items out for free for everyone at the FabFree Info Hub.  Stop by, grab them all, then decorate like mad and show us on Flickr.  There will be surprises for anyone who does!  Oh my!

The Sweet Life

Ahhhh, sweet, sweet watermelon! One of the best treats on a hot summer day. I can still hear the fruit truck vendor speakers calling out “Watermelon – red to the rind!” You just HAD to buy one. Here in Louisiana we have at least one Watermelon Festival to honor the deliciousness. I don’t know anything about the watermelon eating habits of the folks in the northern climes but the southern folks love it.

A few days ago I donned my hunting gear and set out to scour the grid for prizes. I’ve got to tell ya there are some sweet prizes out there.
