Lovelit & Elvira

Hello again, FabFree! I am back with another post for this lovely Monday night, and this time I bring news of some awesome free hair.

FAGA has a tonne of free subscriber gifts out at their store. To get them all, simply click the “Subscriber Group” sign at the store entrance, and you will automatically be subscribed. Their subscriber system does not take up a group spot and you get all past gifts through subscribing. What a win-win! To get the gifts, run around the store and look for the black rectangular signs under the hairstyle vendors that say “Exclusive Pack Gift”. Each gift comes with a colour HUD of exclusive colours. The exclusive packs include some more natural tones (shown here), as well as some colourful tones. Some of the tones change the highlights, low lights and roots to different colours. Note that FAGA‘s free subscriber gifts do not include a style HUD or other colour packs.

• On the left, I am wearing the exclusive hairstyle subscriber gift called “Lovelit”. This one is really pretty as it includes two neatly-wrapped side buns. It’s awesome!
• On the right, I am wearing the exclusive hairstyle subscriber gift called “Elvira”. This style is evidently inspired by the epic Elvira. If you don’t know who that is, you really should. I love Elvira- she was one of my favourite personalities to watch as a child on TV! So, I just love this hairtstyle because it makes me look like Elvira! It’s an awesome gift. Free As A Dove

Hey FabFree! I am hanging out at Sunflower Park, and remembering Free Dove once again. I didn’t blog Free Dove gifts very much in the past, so I have been trying my best to show my support for this fantastic freebie community before it’s too late. Doves symbolize peace and freedom, so may she fly free as a dove and rest in peace. 🕊️

A New Friend

First off, the animesh Dove companion animal is a free gift from House of Fun. You can get it on the Marketplace or at their in-world store for free. This is a lovely momento to Free Dove‘s creator and their legacy.

Free Dove Goodies

I have more goodies from Free Dove to show you all in my look today. You need to join the free Free Dove group to get them. Everything at the Free Dove is available for a limited time, as the freebie outlet will poof soon.

• This is a Free Dove tumbler mug from Star Sugar. It’s a bit hard to see, but it’s decorated with a beautiful design of doves and it says “Free Dove” on it.
• My necklace is a small beautiful gold piece from Star Sugar that says “Love Doves” on the pendant- it’s shiny and elegant!
• My pretty blue shorts are a gift from Paper.Sparrow. They fit Freya, Hourglass, Isis, Maitreya, Physique, and Venus. The shorts also include a colour change hud to change the colours of the ties only.
• The see-through BOM top and undies are a free gift from Alaskametro. These BOM pieces can be worn separately as an outfit (as a bikini swimsuit), but I choose to wear them underneath some mesh clothing to create a unique look.

• The pretty hairstyle is a free gift from Alli&Ali Designs. It includes a colour hud of variety colours and a style hud.

Rest in Peace, My Baby Boy

Ok FabFree… this post is about to get emotional. In this post, I will be talking about loss and grief so be prepared for that before reading.  Last month, I lost my beloved furbaby in real life. It was heartbreaking for me, as I had an incredibly special and close bond with my cat. It really broke me in half, but I have been working through my grief.  Apparently, there have been a lot of people in SL lately who have lost their cats and other pets in recent times. For those of you out there who may be going through this, just know you are not alone. I will never forget him as long as I live in both worlds and I will love him until the day I die.

Little Angels

The incredible creator Dalriada Delwood of MOoH! created a set of  “ghost” kitties for those of us who have lost our cats. I thought it was so beautiful that MOoH! came out with these, as it is a lovely little reminder of my beloved little guy who I can carry with me around SL. There are a variety of types of cats available in this set. At Next Up, you can play to win an angelic cat in different colourings and breeds for only 50L per play. Sweet Fifteen

After putting together this innocent and pretty look, I feel like I’m ready to go back to a coming-of-age debutante ball or a high school formal. Whatever it is, it looks like some celebratory occasion. Happy Sweet Fifteen, FabFree!

Changing of the Seasons

Hey FabFree! I can’t believe spring is already over and summer is here… it’s time to move out of these spring clothes and get ready for summer fun! I am soooo pumped for July – you don’t even know how much. The FabFree@15 Event is coming on July 8th, and part of the reason I’ve been posting so much in the last week is to I can prepare to blog our first event! I’m so excited for this summer! So, now I’m back with new post, and this time it’s to show a free hairstyle and some free makeup to keep you going until the event starts. 😉

It’s time to show more free hair from the Hair Fair! I am wearing the free gift from Ade today. The “Lia” hairstyle includes a style-changing hud, different sizes to accommodate different head sizes, and several colour huds. Lots of New Gifts @ Pout!

The makeup items I am wearing today are all products from Pout! that I recently found out are free.

• First off, Pout! has some cute new group gifts. I am wearing one of them right now, which is a set of BOM eyeliners in 4 different styles made exclusively for Lelutka EvoX heads. Their group is currently free to join, and there’s a load of past group gifts to pick up as well!
• Pout! also have some new free gifts on their freebies wall. These require no group join at all. Just buy them for 0L and they are yours. From that lot, I am wearing a new pair of eyeshadows, which are also BOM layers made exclusively for Lelutka EvoX. These come in a bunch of colour options. Both gifts are striking!

Here’s a fun BOM tip! Make sure that you apply the eyeliners after the eyeshadow. You always want to “layer” your BOM layers on top of each other. You can also re-arrange them by “editing” your outfit and moving them up in the order you want them to appear on your avatar.

Hair Fair 2022 starts today! They have quite a few free gifts out this year, and all sales give partial donations to Wigs for Kids. It’s a great cause, and who doesn’t love hair?  The Hair Fair runs until July 10th.

I am showing the free gift from Exile at the event. The “Leena” hairstyle is one of my favourite finds from my outing! It’s a cute ponytail that reminded me of a farm girl. The beauty of this hairstyle is showcased in the back, which I’m showing off behind my room divider.
