I Need You Like A Donut Needs A Hole

Isn’t it great when you find items for free that you can mix and match?  Well, of course you can do that at the MIIX event 😉  The MIIX event opened on January 30th and ends on February 20th.  There are some gifts in some of the booths there, they range in price from 0L to 10L.  A few need the MIIX group, most do not.  In addition, there’s a whole load of gifts for groups like FabFree up on the wall!  There’s a red t-shirt for FabFree that says “Love disappoints, pizza is eternal” and also a red skirt with pink hearts for another group.  Then we have this white “Stupid Cupid” shirt with the pink skirt with red hearts.  I went with this color scheme though, because the shoes and the skirt are a match 😉

You’ll need to join a variety of groups for all these gifts, but each one is free to join.  I have them listed in the credits below, but you can click the group joiner at the event and join them all for free.

Tears Of The Dragon

Here I am, ethereal Beachy again.  I have a renewed love for flexi gowns and nothing is going to keep me away.  A friend and I were sharing a bunch of Marketplace links with each other and she sent me one for this gown, and I fell in love.  I let out a hefty sigh though, because it’s only rigged for the free body Meshbody Classic.  Nevertheless she persists and it almost perfectly fits on my Maitreya Lara 5.3 with some alpha!

This is the Megan gown by Utopia.  It only costs 1L on the Marketplace!  It’s the beautiful blue dress, with a glittery texture that reminds me of dragon scales, and 5 flexi pieces for the skirt.  The back is very low cut and sexy!  I love the way the flexi swirls around my lower legs and feet.   I feel as though I’m a cross between a dragon and a mermaid when I wear this gown.  Apparently Beachy does have a fantasy side after all!  I was not able to find this dress in the store, so it will cost you 1L, and it will be 1L very well spent.

I added some actual dragon horns I won to this gown, and they were a perfect fit!  I won these dragon horns for free on the Midnight Mania board over at +Inner Mantra+. The horns are a deep reddish purple, and they’re adorned with flowers and crystals that match perfectly with my gown. The horns come in 2 colors and you can wear right or left or both.  +Inner Mantra+ has a lovely ethereal garden sim for her store, she has some gorgeous fantasy trees I use at my house.  No group is needed to play her Midnight Mania board making these horns completely free.  There’s some lucky chairs you can play while you’re there too,  but do take a wander around, because you’ll leave feeling very inspired with ideas.

You’re Getting To Be A Rabbit With Me

Four Pink Walls

Don’t you just love it when you come across gifts you weren’t expecting to find?  Well have I got something for you!

MeHoney put out this adorable free pom-pom headband as a gift for the New Year.  The headband and the pom-poms are separate, so if you don’t like wearing fluffy poms on your head, you don’t have to, but, if you’re Beachy, you MUST!  Fluffy poms are just about one of my favorite things, I have them on dresses and socks and shoes and now, my head!  No group is needed for this gift, it’s just completely free for everyone, and it comes with a color hud for the band and the poms.

But wait, there’s more!

So as soon as I clicked the poster on the easel with the headband gift, I looked up and saw pics on the wall and a GIFTS sign over them.  I couldn’t just walk away now, could I?  I was thrilled to discover these too, were gifts for everyone, completely free and no group join required.  How very generous of MeHoney. Sugar On My Tongue

I’ve been rushing around like a mad little avatar scooping up freebies everywhere I can, so I can have things to show you over the next 2 weeks – because of my busy work schedule, I won’t be in SL nearly as much as usual :sadz: I rather enjoy finding things for you all to wear so what’s a girl to do, other than prepare?

One of the places I always stop looking for gifts is Punk Justus.  She’s super generous and almost always has a gift out for everyone.  She also has 6 lucky chairs and a midnight mania board, and no group is needed for any of them!  I was thrilled to see she has a whole wall of free gifts for us now, just head upstairs!  One of the wonderful things I brought home with me is this lovely strawberry gown. New Year’s Fey

The first of the year always holds such promise. Happy New Year, FabFam. I hope this trip around the sun brings us all nothing but good things. Maybe to much to wish for.. but why not. Since I’m starting this year with a fantasy… I’m going full wild Fey RP today. with the help of 25L Tuesday, of course.

First is this new body suit from Scarlet Fey. I like them already with “Fey” in the name. And they have certainly given us a gorgeous build for the 25L Tuesday Sale. This is “Gwath”. I am just in awe of the details on the leather work. Each piece is beautifully scrolled with patterns. It shows best in the advanced lighting but even the lower lights will still show off the work.

One note -> I put on a pair of leggings with the body suit… since I was going riding.
