The first of the year always holds such promise. Happy New Year, FabFam. I hope this trip around the sun brings us all nothing but good things. Maybe to much to wish for.. but why not. Since I’m starting this year with a fantasy… I’m going full wild Fey RP today. with the help of 25L Tuesday, of course.
First is this new body suit from Scarlet Fey. I like them already with “Fey” in the name. And they have certainly given us a gorgeous build for the 25L Tuesday Sale. This is “Gwath”. I am just in awe of the details on the leather work. Each piece is beautifully scrolled with patterns. It shows best in the advanced lighting but even the lower lights will still show off the work.
One note -> I put on a pair of leggings with the body suit… since I was going riding.

My metal work armbands are also a 25L Tuesday find. These are the “Woven Armbands” from On a Lark.OAL always has something cool for the 25L Tuesday Sale and this week is no different. These bands are so detailed and well made. You also get a HUD to choose one of five metal colors. I’m wearing the onyx color today.
As always, 25L Tuesday runs until midnight tonight. However some designers leave their sales items up longer. But if you want ’em… go grab ’em quick!
Tis’ me! I’ve been soooooo busy lately getting the advent started in my shop and helping Juli get the mall ready for Christmas, but I am still here. Real Life gave me a couple of swift kicks lately too, but it’s nothing I can’t handle. Especially when I’ve got yummy group gifts to show you! And most especially when they have pink and Unicats on them, squeee!!!
I’ve been sneaking about the grid here and there and one of my most favorite things I’ve found lately is this super cute *older* gift from Pink Cream Pie. I’ve got lots of time sensitive goodies for you tonight! But I couldn’t resist sharing all the fun!
Most time sensitive first!
I ran out just a short while ago and grabbed some super cute and fun items from the designers at So Kawaii Sunday. My hair is from Kuni, you get the basic pack for 65L and if you want the style pack (I did), that’s also another 65L. Still a very good deal. This hair is called Serenity and for some reason it’s not by the so Kawaii Sunday sign, I had to do an area search but it is upstairs for these prices. That’s where I grabbed mine. Perhaps because I am a tad bit early!
I also grabbed these cute Sakura Cards (with bento poses) from Unicorn for 65L. I combined them with my own poses for my full pose. They pose your hands, but the rest of your body is up to you! It comes with the magical circle just behind me, the halo. It turns slowly as you wear it. Really lovely.
You have all day Sunday (August 29) to grab these and all the other So Kawaii Sunday deals. I love the cute pink kawaii sparkly everything, so I kind of wait for this with baited breath every Saturday night!

I love to create characters for my photos. In second life you can become anything you want to! (well, that is true in real life too, but not to the fantasy extent that it is in second life!) It really helps when you have so many wonderful creators making such amazing things for us to use in our photos. Take for instance my photo today. MOoH! has a 50L Unicorn Gacha with these amazing unicorns in it. Some are display, some are animated and have poses, all of them are beautiful! Which prompted me to put on this lovely gown from Flowerdreams (via the Swank Event which runs from the 7th of each month to the end of the month) and take some unicorn photos (what else?).
As I said, these unicorns can be found in a happy little gacha over at MOoH!. The key is below:
Sooo cute right? The pose I am doing comes with that particular unicorn (the white animated standing one).
Sometimes you just are lucky enough to wander into a sort of wonderland, with bunnies and duckies (yes I said duckies! squee!) wearing clothes and discussing literature, with giant books that think they are clocks… and sometimes you are just lucky enough to find a shirt with a unicorn on it that also has the word lucky! This week I was lucky enough to come across Both these things (and the first one was found while wearing the second one. woah!) Dizzy yet? 😉

Where did the weekend go? By this time Friday it will be Christmas Day! Can you believe it? I’m half in denial myself. lol Two things that seem to go hand in hand for better or worse are Christmas and shopping. I finally worked my way through the behemoth that is the Holiday Shop & Hop event and as overwhelming as it can be, I have to admit it was worth it. My inventory now flooded with gifts, I thought I’d share a few with you.
If you’ve never gone to one of the Shop & Hop events before, there are a few things you should know. First, there’s no group needed for the gifts, just click the gift box at each of the designer’s booths. Second, there are eight sims to wander through. Yes, I said eight. As you can imagine, that’s a lot of shopping and hopping. For this post I chose to share the freeHoliday Shop & Hop gifts by Eclectic Stars, Unicorn, and Infiniti. Eclectic Stars
When it comes down to it, one of the labels that could be used to describe me (and I think most of us in SL) is “gamer.” Eclectic Stars put out the perfect Christmas sweater for any gamer girl as their freeShop & Hop gift. It has a Christmas tree on it made entirely of Space Invader-style aliens. :O So cute!
As a photographer and a blogger, I’ve got an ever-growing collection of backdrops and photo props and I like it that way. The freeShop & Hop gift by Unicorn is this fun wintery holiday outdoor setting complete with a snowman, evergreen tree, and a festively decorated front porch. If you’re in need of a cute backdrop for some holiday photos, don’t skip this one.

The falling snow is a wearable add-on, and I have to say I love the detail of the pretty snowflakes. Almost like shoes, I’m a firm believer that there is no such thing as too many poses! For now I’m off to go see if I can’t sneak up on Blue with this snowball. Wish me luck! lol

Crowning Glory
Let’s start at the top, shall we. I am sporting the October Group Gift from Luas and it’s just spectacular! This is the Solar Crown and you can pick it up for free if you are a member of the Luas group. While there is a one time fee to join the group, it’s well worth it just for the tons of free gifts. There’s even a whole wall of past gifts to pick from. The crown comes with a HUD to change the colors of thermoses, the halo and the horns.
Hoppin’ an’ Shoppin’
Now for our Shop and Hop gifts. My new hair style is the free gift from Sintiklia called “Hazel”. I love the wispy bangs which you can turn on and off if you please. You also get a HUD for the “Classy” set of 32 colors. Plus, you get a Tinter so you can get that perfect shade you want.
My new spell binding top and shimmery skirt are both from the “Fionna” gacha in the Annex shop. For just 25L per play, I was able to pull the top and the skirt in my favorite color: purple, of course! Now if purple isn’t your thing… Fionna comes in six colors for you to choose from.

Surely I’m not the only one with a brain full of useless (but totally fun) pop culture information. That said, when I saw this adorable (and free) group gift tee at Reed, I immediately felt like singing the Journey song “Don’t Stop Believin'” since that’s what the shirt says. The unicorn graphic is also pretty darn cute! Also at Reed are these pretty wristwatches that come in gold, silver (shown), black, and rose. They are free lucky letter board prizes, or you can purchase them all for 75 linden and not have to wait. The group gift shirt, and the Lucky Letter boards will require the Reed group tag, however the group is free to join.
On my recent shopping excursion I also picked up some nail polish and eyeshadow from Demicorn. These pretty pastel nail polishes, and my vibrant eyeshadow are two of many group gifts at Demicorn. The Demicorn group is 100 linden to join. The polish has 6 color choices, and the eyeshadow has 5 color combinations to choose from. I have to say I’m very much enjoying these rich colors!

Hi Fab Free’rs, I don’t know about you, but I think coffee or cocoa and doughnuts are a required part of study-time. I also think that comfort is paramount. I like to study in my pajamas, sitting in my bed, or a comfy chair, and have sweet eats at my immediate disposal. lol Poor Herman, haha, he likes to see how close he can get to the doughnuts without actually eating them. Though if I don’t keep an eye on him he’ll sneak one and run off with it! That said, I better drink this coffee before it gets cold!

This cute decor set includes the school uniform on a stand, which has a color change hud for the skirt and tie, an open school bag with books and pencils spilling out.
LovelySweet
Finally, the pose used along with the glasses, and book prop (the book in my photo is not the one included in the set) are from the free Stay at Home Club gift at LovelySweet. There are 4 total poses each with props in the “Introverting” bento pose set by LovelySweet. No need to join a group for this free gift.
