Happy Wednesday, Fabulous Readers! I agree with Allison. There is so much going on this time of year that it is hard to know what I want to blog. Except for this post. As soon as I saw that Carol’s Store has a free gift card, I knew!
First Things First
I have to say I was thrilled when I heard about the free 500L$ gift card for members of the Carol’s Store Group! It’s one of my favorite clothing stores in SL, and with such a generous amount, I knew I might be able to get more than one item. All you need to do is activate the Carol’s Group tag (it costs 10L$ to join), head to the back of Carol’s Store, and tap the Christmas Gift Card Vendor. You’ll receive a message from Allomancy with a link to the website where you can redeem your gift card for store credit. When you find an item you’d like to purchase with the credit, right-click the vendor, then select “Menu.” On the next pop-up, tap “Use Credit,” and you’re good to go! You can use the credit for items in the main store, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that you can also purchase items at special events.

If any turkey out there survived Thanksgiving, I say let him keep his neck. 🙂 The Eleanor Sweater is one of the latest releases from Carol’s Store, and is being offered exclusively at the Uber Monthly Event. This warm, ribbed sweater has a slim fit that flatters your figure. It features a slightly cropped hemline and wrist-hugging cuffs. I opted for the color Nude, but it’s also available in 13 other hues for 240L$ each (free with your store credit).

Also at the Uber event, you’ll find the coordinating Eleanor Skirt from Carol’s Store. This flowing maxi boasts a timeless pattern. Again, I opted for the color Nude, but she’s available in 13 other colorways, all priced at just 240L$ each (again, free with your store credit). The skirt includes a wide belt with a circular buckle. I love how it defines your midsection. The designer includes a HUD for the belt and buckle so you can customize your outfit. My favorite aspect of the HUD is that you can input an RGB value for an exact match to your footwear.
