I Took A Walk Around The World

This picture brings lots of questions to mind. Good questions like, why are you at the gas station without a car? And why are you making that face, are you upset about something? But the most important question of all – are those freebies??

The answer to the important question is of course, yes they are freebies. I did a little marketplace exploring and came away with more freebies than you can shake a stick at. What does that expression even mean? Anyway, The Annex has lots of free gifts and heavily discounted items available on the marketplace. I’ve taken the liberty of filtering down to only showing the 0-10L items and no demos, and you can see what The Annex is offering here. There is a wide assortment of free and 10L items and I’m wearing two of them. I picked up this jacket and the top, each for free on the marketplace from The Annex. They’re both great separately and flawless together, plus each is offered in a fatpack of colors. All for free. Both items come sized for:

I also had a hankering to show off some free hair, so I hopped around a bit looking for something fitting till I landed at Wasabi. The Ermahgerd style isn’t new but some things just keep being awesome. You can pick it up for free at Wasabi, no group join required. There’s a HUD of colors for the hair, the hat, and cute says for the hat too if you don’t wanna be boring and wear it plain like me.

Island Vibes

Hello there, Fabulous Readers!  Gus and I are back to share a couple of free group gifts with you on this Friday afternoon.  As much as I adore sales, I like free even better!

Pretty Polynesian Print

My first free giftie that I have to share is my top and skirt from the Travesty store.  The Polynesian top features a bold geometric print and a loose, cowl-style neckline.  With its sleeveless design and cropped length, it’s ideal for hot summer days.  The gift folder includes not one, but two versions of the skirt.  For my photo, I opted for the solid black ruffled skirt, which sits low on the hips and has a short, flirty hemline.  The other variation is a slit skirt in a coordinating geometric pattern that falls to about mid-thigh.  Both are super cute!  To add the Polynesian Group Gift to your inventory, you have to be a member of the Travesty group, and there is a 25L$ join fee.  Since you get three pieces of clothing in the gift, I think it’s a great deal!

Stand a Little Taller

To finish off my look, I opted to don the strappy Lilah sandals that I picked up as a free group gift over at Dead Doll.  Thank goodness that my avatar can walk like a boss in high heels in SL!  These babies boast slender ties with beads plus cute little heart-shaped decorations on the toe box.  The designer thoughtfully included a texture change HUD packed with 16 (yes, 16!) colors for the cord and beads, along with 3 options for the hearts.  With this generous fat pack, I can see the Lilah sandals becoming a summer staple in my wardrobe!  To scoop up the Lilah sandals for yourself, you do need to be a member of the Dead Dollz VIP group, and the join fee is a bit steep at 250L$ (but hello…. fat pack!).  Also, there are two group gifts up for grabs in the shop.  Speaking of the two group gifts, you should check out Crecre’s post here, where she beautifully models the other available gift at Dead Doll!

Argh, Matey! It’s a Beach Day

TGIF! I know it is for many of you out there. Every day is a Friday when you’ve put your years into a job and then you can retire! The Womenstuff Hunt is winding down; it ends on July 31st. So if you haven’t started what are you waiting for? Anyway this is a super duper hunt. As it’s been mentioned previously you will be required to join the Womenstuff hunt group for $50L. I love the swimsuit’s nautical textures. The shoes have braided strands of red, white, and blue. Yep, this one will be a keeper. And, best of all, it’s free on the hunt. Beach Hair, Just in Time

While I was trying to decide what beach worthy hair style to wear I peeked into the Fifty Linden Friday gallery and saw that Wasabi has the Fiji hair on sale for only $50L per color pack. FLF runs until Sunday night so you have time to grab this one if you like its’ look.

Five Star Hotel

Well, since it can’t be Halloween or Christmas, and it is still summer, how about a nice weekend vacation?  A Staycation or vacation works, but please, get me to a 5-star hotel with a pool, spa, massage and fine dining, hey?  I mean, I can’t afford that myself but seems like we should get to have wish lists for RL. 😉

Nightlife

One of the things I value in a nice hotel is either a hoppin’ hotel lounge where a lot of people drink the night away, or proximity to good music and dancing out on the town, incase I drink one too many and need to walk home 😉   I found the perfect outfit for said vacation in The Womenstuff Hunt, and wanted to show it to you while there’s still a few days left to complete it 😉  This outfit is from AXE and it comes in separates, the sequin top and the plaid pants.  It’s sized for:
