Brand New Look

Many of you have been flitting about picking up all the free gifts on the Lelutka 12 Days of Christmas, I’m sure.  I took a bit of time this morning to play around with the gifts, and put a new avatar together just so you can see what’s possible with your new goodies!  Let’s go!

As per usual, I’ll blather about how much I hate changing my head and skin and body etc.  I happen to like my usual avi, but I’ll always dip a toe in to avatar enhancements when the time comes.  For those of you who are averse to change like I am, I’ll again say “it wasn’t too hard!”.  I did have a bit of grumbling when it came to weirdness as I got used to changing skins and such – but that’s just me being stuck in my ways 😉 …

Let Them Eat Cake!

I’m channeling a nouveau Marie Antionette look today with this gorgeous gown and hair style. I should be wearing a very thick and heavy choker in hopes of stopping that guillotine from chopping off my head! If we just change a few letters we would be shopping instead of chopping. And there is lots of shopping at the annual Holiday Shop & Hop. Of course there are tons of free gifts to be had there. She’s Got Legs

One of my stops during the early days of this round of Shop & Hop was Sofia’s booth. Sofia is known for its’ high quality and delicious gowns. I do love a slit in the gown and there is quite the slit on this one. But don’t worry you’re only showing some thigh. Can you imagine whirling and twirling in it? Perfect for a holiday gala!

Sae-byeok is the name of the gown offered as a free gift. It has everything a girl could want. The package includes matching jewelry (earrings and diamond rings). There is a large diamond that sits at the waistline just above the slit. The details on this gown are fabulous.

I Dreamed I Was a Queen

No_Match also has a booth at Shop & Hop. The gift you’ll find there is No_Blesse. It’s an updo with pearls and other embellishments. It does remind me of a style the queen of France might wear. This free gift a number of color change huds so there is something for everyone.

Of course a queen must sport some fab nails also so I was happy to find  a set at Formanails waiting for me at Shop and Hop. The Ria Christmas mesh nails are also free! The nails come for the following bodies: Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn. These are add-ons and not hud controlled.

Don’t Forget to Feed the Reindeer

Fabbies!  I didn’t think I would get around to doing much hunting this holiday season, everything totally started on December 1st like BAM!  I was totally overwhelmed with the amount of generous gifts creators had out, that I had to go collect right away – as we talked about in the in-world chat – FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out)  Boy, am I glad I didn’t sleep on this hunt though.  The Chronicles of Winter hunt is on and there’s some super cute things over there!

The Chronicles of Winter (COW, ha!) hunt, is a low cost hunt.  There are a bunch of prizes in candy canes hidden all over the SIM, and each one is between 0L-25L.  There doesn’t seem to be a guide to the goodies on a webpage anywhere, I’ve looked multiple times, but you can see all the items when you land, they’re packed neatly into a notecard you pick up when you get there.

Today I’m showing you these adorable items I got in the hunt from MOoH!  Each item cost me 25L, and each one comes with a hud full of wonderful holiday patterns and colors.

My whole outfit only cost me 75L and it’s all mix and match and can be worn separately or together!  The hunt is open until January 5th if you’re feeling pressed for time, just don’t let it pass by without checking it out!
