Just settling in for a long Winter’s nap….

I truly forgot how hectic it was blogging all the free gifts in December. I’m wore out! Beat! Bushed! I’m still in my FREE group gift from Gizza, the Christmas Jacket w/ Cardigan from when Serena and I found the perfect Christmas tree.  My Santa Pants came from the Santa Goes to Gor outfit by Kitty Creations that I picked up at The Wash Cart Sale for just $10L. Also, because of the nature of Advents and free Christmas goodies, some of these Items may no longer be available. T – 2 Days

Hey FabFree! As you can see my puppy made it home safe and sound after his walkabout to Serena’s and then his untimely abduction by Carson.  He’s exhausted poor thing, not even enough energy to play with his favourite ball, but I made him pose for the photo so you could see he was returned safely!  I’m sure once he wakes up, he’ll be ready for another adventure.  Who knows where he will wind up this afternoon!

Running Out of Advent Time!

There is only a couple more days to take advantage of all of the free gifts in the Kittycats Advent Calendar and if you haven’t been by, you can head down there and pick up all of the previous days.  This calendar is filled with sometimes multiple gifts each day by different designers across the grid.  Now…  I can’t remember which day I got this awesome gift by Rebel Hope, but I wanted to share the news with you so you know it’s in there … somewhere!  This gift by Rebel Hope includes the dress and boots shown as well as a headband and a hat (not shown).

It’s the Truth, I tell you!

My hairstyle today is courtesy of Truth who put their Irena and Irenka hairstyles under the holiday Pompom hats and sent them out to the inworld Truth group.  This is similar to the previous hair gift that Sheidey has been showing off in her posts [HERE], and [HERE], but with a holiday pom pom hat ;).  A full selection of colour huds for hair and texture change for the hat is included.

Also in Truth  group notices right now, you’ll find the Bangs Collection which is a great way to add a little versatility to any of your Truth hair!  I am wearing the Swept Right Narrow bangs with my Irenka hair today and it really changed up the look.  There are several different types of bangs (or fringe as some of you around the world call it) and as like the PomPom Hat gift, there is a full selection of colour huds!  I can’t wait to try it with the other kajillion Truth hairstyles I have been collecting.  It will be like new hair all over again!  There is a fee of 350L to join currently, but it’s worth it!

Winter Decor

Now this bench with my little squirrel friend is another one of the Le Poppycock Animal Friends  poses from the gacha offering at The Liason Collaborative (50L per play), but also… sitting beside the bench you’ll see a very nice winter décor piece by Dixie Dandelion called Pilling Lantern & Gulls w/ Shell that I picked up for 10L at The Wash Cart Sale.  This item is transferrable so that you can even gift it to a friend if you like!

Baby Got Back… Grounds

Sometimes in Second Life, being a bogger can be a nearly impossible feat fighting the lag, and glitches that come along from time to time and it’s not every day that we can go into a beautiful sim with snow falling and mesh prettiness all around us and crank our graphics settings up.  Sometimes we are just plum stuck in the sky, but I found that Chaotic Creative is participating in The Wash Cart Sale and has a ton of different background packs, priced at just 10L per pack!  Just slap it on a prim, and you are ready to snap away!  The background I used today is one of five included in the Liraffe pack.

My Holiday Happy Place

Snapshot_001Hey  FabFree!  Are you ready for Christmas?  Unlike Carson who is running around trying to do last minute Christmas shopping as he mentioned [HERE],  I ordered most of the things on my list online this year to avoid the hustle and bustle of shopping centers in December, but… now I am stalking tracking numbers in hopes they all arrive on time!  I suppose ordering online does have it’s pros (being able to pick things up in the comfort of your own home), but also it’s cons (waiting for them to arrive!!).

My 80L Room

Fortunately I’m all cozy and comfortable in the sitting room that I put together with several 10L finds at The Wash Cart Sale while I wait.  My puppy is off frolicking in the snow somewhere (Serena, is he at your place again?!), but as you can see my kittycat is keeping me company just fine.  This whole scene is put together with just 80L.  I will list the items in my photo with direct TPs for easy shopping:

Hello FabFree Readers! Won’t You Meet Me In The Indian Summer

Snapshot_007The Indian Summer Event down at The Wash is afoot as Astrid mentioned yesterday in her post showing off a couple of Cart Sale finds by Roped Passions and Ghee [HERE] and her post this morning for Orquidea [HERE]!  Today I am displaying a couple of items that can be found on the Dark Water Designs display that really jumped out at me and said “BUY ME LOVE TRILL, I’M ONLY 10L!”… and so I did.  Yes…  they speak to me!

I purchased the Indian Summer Henley Top and Boho Printed Shorts in the Autumn print for just 10L each.  Both items come in mesh, fitmesh and Maitreya, Belleza and Slink specific sizes and the Henley Top actually comes with a texture change HUD that allows for four different autumn colours to mix and match with your printed boho shorts.  Make sure you check out the rest of the items available by Dark Water Designs, because they are all really very nice!
