What Happens In The Woods

There’s a cute little hunt at Bratiful. It is for 10 pumpkins I believe, which are all glowy and relatively easy to spot. Join the free group and the prizes are all free. I had my eye on three of them – the lipstick, blood splatter across my cheek, and super inconspicuous hat that I have on here. Very cheeky and just my style, don’t you think? The hat comes in two versions and the other items are BOM with versions for a few different heads. There are some other nice prizes too and there’s a poster in the shop which shows all of them. I kind of stumbled on this one so I have very little info and don’t know how long this hunt will last. I wouldn’t advise dillying or dallying.

Stays In The Woods

Aline mentioned the Ricielli hunt and this is one that I can’t resist either. There is a whole range of amazing prizes and it’s super easy to pick out exactly the items that you want for a cool 15L each. Or grab them all, I’m not here to judge. I almost ended up in the amazing prize number 18 but cooler heads prevailed and I ended up in numbers 1 and 3 instead. You really can’t go wrong. No clue how long this one will last either, but no group join is required so probably just go now and start basking in gorgeous 15L finds, yeah?

This shirt is bringing back childhood memories to the TV show Are You Afraid of the Dark?  It was kind of the Canadian reply to Goosebumps.  I would totally cover my eyes if it came on when I was in the room.  No scary TV for me!  And yes, I am still 100% like that.

Let’s Get Loki

There’s a new group gift at Loki, and you guessed it… it’s this t-shirt.  I generally love anything Loki makes, and so I knew I had to show this one off.    There are six different textures you can apply to the shirt via HUD.  Join the group for 199L and this is yours, plus the quite extensive wall of other gifts that are there (and all super cute too).  And the answer is… yes I am afraid of the dark.

Scratchy Scratch!

A new group gift was just announced as well from Pure Poison, and of course I had to run over there to get it.  These nails (which are kinda more like rings that cover your nails?) are fun, and actually sparkle when they’re on your fingers.  The HUD allows you to change the metals and the gem colour of the nails.  The Pure Poison group is currently 500L to join, which seems a bit pricey but you get gifts quite often, so I think it’s one to get in and STAY in!

I want to be in that number, when the Saints go marching in! I did find a reasonable facsimile of a New Orleans Saints cheer outfit. I do have to divulge that our team is not doing well so maybe I should have a paper bag on my head. That custom started in the late 70s to early 80s. The team had a season of 1 win & 15 losses. So fans started calling themselves “Aints” instead of Saints and wore paper bags on their heads. Of course some were decorated with art work.

The team is having another losing season so I decided they need cheering on in SL also. I found this super cute cheer outfit at Fancy Dancer and it was on sale! It’s only $30L for the 30L Saturdays sale to buy the Comet outfit. It consists of a top & the skirt. There are several available color options to choose from.
