Red Lady

Hello and happy Monday, Fab Fam! I do love a fresh new week on the Grid. So many sales and Hunts and events to enjoy. Liiiike The Blue Event. Now this one is a new one to me but it’s a great addition to my schedule of events! There are a ton of great bargains and a bunch of free gifts for us. In fact I was able to make a full outfit with a perfect ‘on the town’ look.

Let’s start with the free dress. This is the “Chahat” dress from Roop Clothing. This is a new-to-me designer but I am rather impressed with this lovely cocktail dress. It’s a deep rich crimson red which stands out in a sea of LBDs. It does only come in this color but I don’t mind at all.

The shoes are new and free as well! The “Star” heels from ShoeDdiction are the perfect compliment to the new dress. Moons and stars and all things celestial are certainly one of my favorite vibes so I was thrilled to pick them up. I can see myself wearing these a lot on the future.

Trust the Process

Hello Fabulous Readers and Happy Monday!  In the past few years, real-life threw some events my way that I never expected or wanted.  I’ve often said that when one door closes, another opens.  Well, my belief in that saying sure was tested.  During difficult times, sometimes it’s hard to remember that when life doesn’t work out as you wanted, something better is coming your way.  This shirt is a good reminder to stay patient and have faith.

As I combed through my group notices this morning (yup, I do it too, Beachy!) I came across a happy announcement from the Coco Update Group, that mentioned a new free gift.  I’m a huge fan of Cocoro Lemon’s work, and she is so generous with her group gifts.  I quickly teleported to her shop and scooped up this simple top with a powerful, timely message.  It features tank-style sleeves, a cheeky cropped fit, and text in a green cursive font.  The update group is completely free to join and there are tons of other prior free gifties set out for you to collect.  I’d highly recommend becoming a member and visiting the shop!

Give Me Just a Little More Time

If you haven’t started down the path of the Womenstuff Hunt, there’s still a few more days left.  It runs through July 31st and contains more than 100 stops along the way.  Hunt items are free, but you do need to be a member of the Womenstuff group to participate (50L$ join fee).  My adorable butterfly heart earrings from the Moody Designs Store are just one of the prizes you can collect on the way.  They are super cute and come with a texture change HUD with nine colors for the butterflies and nine options for the metal portion.  To participate in the hunt, you’ll first have to travel to the start location and pick up a copy of the HUD for the hunt, which contains a preview photo for each item.  If you grant permission for the hud to teleport you, it makes moving from location to location easy.  You’ll be searching for a red bag hidden somewhere in the shop.

I’ve got two hunts for you today- and the first one is going down at Jumo.  They’re celebrating the designer’s birthday with plenty of 25L prizes – all you have to do is search for the little red velvet cakes peppered all around the store.  I found the Iman outfit which is a knotted top and pencil skirt combo in a full fatpack of alluring textures and colours.  This hunt is running until August 7th and there are 30 looks to hunt for!

Hunt Two

The second hunt I’ve got for you tonight is going on at Folklore and Fable which have suddenly appeared on my radar since Shop & Hop.  They specialize in embroidery style artwork, and it feeds into my love for mystical looking art.  Really pretty stuff – you have to check it out.  Anyway, they’ve got a hunt on this summer, and you’re searching for tiny little bunnies hidden around the store, each are 25L.  I found this lovely work hanging behind me and I’m pretty sure I’m never taking it down.  This hunt is going on til September, so you’ve got a bit of time to find all 10 prizes.

OK let’s start with the dress.  Here’s another store I’ve never heard of (although apparently it’s been around a while) –  I found, while wading through my 50+ notices multiple times a day that I keep on, so I never miss a cute freebie to show you 😉   This is the Vara dress by MUNEREIA and it’s the new group gift for the store.  It has a whole hud of the most adorable boho prints, I had trouble deciding which one to wear!  It comes sized for:

I love this so mush.

Look at this hat.  How can it only be 1L?  No idea, but I snatched it up so fast.  This hat is by Toadstool – which also made another one of my favorite mushroom hats, except this one is on Marketplace.  It has a full color hud for the hat, and you can choose a few ways to display the little particles that dance off the top of the hat.  The bow stays black, but you can change the texture of it.

I’m thinking I should buy one for Porta, and then I can call her Porta-bello 😉
