Hello Friend

Hello Fabulouses!  As the weekend draws to a close, I just had to pop in quickly to share an adorable dress that I picked up as a free group gift.  Since this is a January gift, and the month is drawing to a close, I’m not sure how much longer it will be available.  So, if you like this off the shoulder style mini as much as I do, I’d recommend a trip over to the shop in the next few days.

It’s a Dress……It’s a Top

When I saw the Susie Dress as one of the free group gifts being offered to members of the Jumo Fashion Group, I fell in love with it immediately!  Featuring a lively botanical print (only available in this group gift) splashed across a while background, puffy sleeves and a generous ruffled hem, Susie reminds me of warm summer days.  It certainly allowed my shoulders to soak up some desert sun rays as Ripley and I made a new friend over at the Villa Baldeney sim.  Although it is termed a dress, it is very short, so I opted to wear it as a top instead.  If you were to wear it as a dress, you would have to make strategic use of an alpha layer to preserve modesty.  The frock is rigged mesh and is designed solely for mesh bodies.  To pick up a copy for yourself, you do have to be a member of the group, and the join fee, at 350 Linden dollars, is a bit steep, but there are currently four additional group gifts set out including earrings, a skin for Catwa and Omega, lipstick for Catwa and Omega, and a cute little purse.

Army Girl

In real life, Mr. Juli and I spent almost 22 years serving in the Army. So I sorta have a fondness for all things Army or red, white and blue or camo. That said, when I saw that Mowie had a dress in camo set out as a gift, I was there!

This is the ‘Aina’ dress from Mowie and it set out at the Tres Chic Event as a free gift for all of us. No group needed! I’m always so tickled when designers are just generous like this. And when the gift is this beautifully made… just wow, Thanks, Mowie! You get two versions of Aina in your gift box. One is a more jungle green and one is a desert type camo. I love them both!

Tackle the Fishing
