X-Treme Finds Fit For A Queen

Hello Fabulouses!  Could today be a more perfect day for the beach?  The Linden sun is shining, the prim birds are chirping – and I picked up a whole new beachy outfit, and sexy new hair for free!  It really just doesn’t get any better for a beach loving bloggerista!

The outfit that I am wearing today is by X-Treme Vogue and is a free group gift that includes the top and matching tropical pants.  The wrap tube top comes with an Omega Applier which made it lickety split easy to wear with my Maitreya Lara Body.    The X-Treme Vogue group is free to join, and there are other groups available for both men and women.

A Dreary Soul Heralds in a Dream of Nimue’s Magic

When we were children magic was very much alive. It surrounded us like light and water in a surreal and ethereal dream of shimmer and color.

The Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, and monsters were not just imaginary things. Trolls hid in our closets and under our beds. We played jump across the room, slap the light switch from a distance, and huddle under the covers. I used to imagine that within me was a power I could harness to ‘zap’ away the things that went bump in the night and obliterate them into oblivion. In my mind, I was not a wee child. I was a leviathan of strength — strong, mighty, powerful, and beautiful.

Somewhere along the lines, we grow up. And when you’re a teenager the monsters are supposed to disappear. You know they aren’t in your closet anymore… it’s then you realize they are outside your door. They are, instead, real people with faces. Names. Families of their own. My dreams changed then — as did my outlook. The Tooth Fairy’s wings were crushed into dust… and Santa Claus faded into obscurity as the Grinch stole my Christmas.

It was when I was an adult that I finally understood that not only were the monsters real, but that I did have magic within me that was very real as well. It was not fairy dust or hocus pocus of course. But it was magic nonetheless. It was then that I found harmony within myself.

There is that quote. Something about being afraid of the unknown? It’s when you know that the monsters are real that it becomes okay to sleep with the light off… because you know hold the light to banish them away within the palm of your upturned hand.
