Down in Tinsel Town

Hello Fabulous Readers!  After all the hoopla of the holiday, I decided to don some comfy, casual clothes.   The weekend after Thanksgiving is a traditional shopping extravaganza in the USA.  No way I was going out in all the traffic in RL!  I got my budget-friendly shopping fix in SL.

A Flannel You Can Live In

To begin, I slipped into the Tara Halter Top from Riot, a free gift for members of the Riot Mainstore Group (25L$ to join).  It’s an oldie but a goodie that was first blogged here by Starla.  Over this, I layered an open Oakley Jacket (also from Riot) that I picked up for just 50L$ for the Fifty Linden Fridays Sale.  The plaid flannel features cool tones of blue and gray. The jacket drapes casually off my shoulders and creates an “I threw this on, but still look fab” vibe.  This “Cozy Blues” version of the top includes a HUD that allows you to change the color of the metallic elements.  The Oakley Jacket is available in 15 colorways, all priced at 50L$ each.  The Fifty Linden Fridays Sale ends on November 30th.

Made for Winter Wandering

Beachy Blues

Happy Friday, Fabulous Readers!  I really don’t know where this week has gone.  It was Sunday night, I blinked, and now it’s Friday!  Have you ever had weeks like that?  We are down three team members at my rl work, and I am putting in extra hours until they’ve all been onboarded.  Soon, things will return to normal.  Gus and I are enjoying some much needed down time at the beach.  While he has fun playing with crab friends, I’m enjoying this Blue Hawaiian cocktail while wearing my new free outfit.

Coastal Blue and Crisp White
