From Red to Green

Wow! Another month has flown by and it’s time to ditch the red and go with green. St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner.
The FabFree St. Patty’s Day Hunt has begun and there are some great things to find. This hunt will run until March 31st so there’s lots of time to dive in. However, if you’re looking for anything St Patty you’ll want to do the hunt now. You’ll find lots from decor to clothing & accessories.

Anyone Got A Quarter I Can Borrow?

I was out looking for some type of fabulous & festive party to attend since I’m all decked out with shamrocks and stuff. I was going to call to find out more about it. Like where is the party?? But dangit, I left my purse at home so I don’t even have a quarter. I should have brought my purse phone! Oh well, guess I’ll keep looking for revelers.

My dress today is the hunt item from Telsiope’s Couture. The Areum dress comes in these beautiful textures. I am shamrocked! It’s a nice length for those who don’t like wearing those short, butt-revealing dresses and skirts. The design is classic with long sleeves & a sweet mock-turtle neckline. I paid a whole $5L for it on the hunt.

I traveled to a couple of other stores on the hunt to find something to accessorize my outfit. Pixel Box is participating in the hunt with 4 hats. Three of them are the same design with different texture hues. The 4th is a tall top hat with a little Leprechaun peeking out from the top. Super-duper cuteness! I’m wearing the Saint Patrick hat Green II today. All of the hats are free.

Of, course I always need shoes! Have no fear, ShoeDdiction has our backs, or should I say our shoes? There are 3 different pair of shoes for the hunt. I chose the green Clover heels to match my dress. The other two sets of heels have clover textures. Very nice heels. Best of all, you’ll pay only $5L each for two of the pair and $0L for the third set. Sizes include: Erika, GenX, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Peach, Reborn, SLink, & Prima.

I went over to Stunner Originals because I hadn’t been there in a while. I was able to scoop up several past group gifts. One of the gifts is the Luster EVOX eyeshadows. It’s a hud with 8 different options to choose a color. It’s a group gift. The Stunner Originals V.I.P. group is $200L to join. If you love having lots of makeup to play with this is actually a great deal.

There are 2 groups for the store. The Stunner Originals group is free to join. When you walk in & face the front doorway, gifts for the free group are on the right. If you’d like to join the V.I.P. group the gifts are on the left side.

The Wheels on the Bus

You know the tune – “The wheels on the bus go round and round”. However when I was looking for my tour bus I could only find this dumpy one. I doubt these wheels are going anywhere but flat. I must have misunderstood the directions to get to the right one. After all, I am in a Francophile sim so that is one reason to get lost.

I’ve got a quick post for you today with another gift from The Fifty‘s Anniversary round. There are so many nice things set out as gifts that you’ll see any number of posts from our team.

I’m showing off the gift from Aurica. The Milli outfit comes with a sleeveless dress and a very cute light sweater. It’s one of those easy, breezy outfits that I’m sure you’ll love. And I love the color. I’m not usually a “yellow” kind of woman but this color is vibrant and bright.

Other Accouterments

I made a trip to Poeme yesterday and picked up a number of gifts for different groups. My bag, the Copper Canyon denim purse is the free SLF&O group gift. It comes with a purse for the hand and another to for the elbow. The group is free to join. And, yes, there is also a FabFree group gift there. There are also 4 non-group lucky boards and a MM board.

I added a couple of older items to complete my look. My jewelry, from Le’La, the Seaka set, is from one of the 2023 events & sadly, is no longer available. Off-Line provided a gift last year of the Momentous heels in a huge fatpack of colors. So I was set to go.
