Hope you don’t mind if I blog with my eyes closed…

UGH!  The events of last night flooded back into my brain as I winced in pain trying to hide the from the sun, which seemed to be extra bright this morning.  An afternoon of Mojitos with Pru [shown here], turned into more mojitos and a girls night out.  She is such a bad influence on me :O!  Why, oh why did I drink so  much, and since when do I dance on bars?  I better call Pru and see what other “crazy girls night out” things I can’t remember!

I did manage to shower and get dressed for the day,

but no way am I ready to be upright!  Thank goodness I had picked out today’s outfit yesterday so I could just slide into it this morning.

Never Runaway From A Good Lovesong

Good morning Fabulous Readers! Today I bring you two marvelous bits of news I hope you’ll be happy to hear about.

The First Bit – Who Doesn’t Love A Good Lovesong?

Lamb inworld group members are being spoiled with a new group gift.  With your inworld group tag activated above your head, you can head to the mainstore and pick up the new Lovesong hairstyle for free and in a complete fatpack of colours!  Lovesong is a long, flowy style, bobby pinned at the side to keep the hair out of your eyes.  There is also a previously given out group gift still on the shelf as well [Blogged Here].  This group is 100L to join, but with two fatpacks of really great hair available, it’s a steal!

The Second Bit – Sn@tch News

Sn@tch has some big changes going on at their shop this month as they are moving to a new building.  They will be retiring some of the older items and are hosting a huge clearance sale until the end of the month.  If you have a peek around the store, you’ll find all kinds of discounts, some ridiculously low!  There are three new Riot Vendor items too, and my sexy Runaway Plaid Lingerie as shown in my photo is one of them.

If you are unfamiliar with how a Riot Vender works, basically the more people standing around the vendor, the lower the price goes!  So TP in your friends, call the Sn@tch group members down and watch the numbers drop – sometimes below 50L even!

Oh Deer

Hi there Fabulouses!  As I was updating the FabFree Holiday Advent Listing (no.. it’s not quite done yet – still working on it and I will be sure to announce when it’s ready!) over the last couple of days, I was in the mood for a little taste of Christmas.  It was perfectly timed that Zenith put out a new holiday themed group gift, as it was just what I needed to complete my look.

Galaxies

My Second Life closet seems to have taken a leaf or three out of the pages of my first. It’s laughably messy for one thing, and for another, it’s slowly being conquered by t-shirts. Solid colored ones, ones with slogans or symbols or band logos…I find them difficult to resist and this was most certainly true with the t-shirt pictured. It’s perky purple and pink tie and dye design is simple but eye catching and needless to say I fell in love with it as soon as I stepped into the retirement sale room at Imbue. At 50L I felt that it was a steal but if you’re not as big a t-shirt fan as I am there are other clothing items at the sale for you to peruse. The shirt comes in five standard mesh sizes (XXS – L) and has a very good alpha layer. While you’re there and if it strikes your fancy join the Imbue group for 50L and slap the Midnight Mania board or try your luck on the Letters. Oh and don’t forget to pick up the group gifts, one of which has been blogged by Prudence {HERE}

As the pattern on the shirt reminded me of galaxies I quickly paired it up with another closet staple of mine, the skater skirt. The one above comes from Mag<3 B‘s Marketplace store and will cost you only 5L. It comes in five standard mesh sizes (XS -XL) as well as sizes specific to Slink, Belleza, and Maitreya bodies. The light and airy textures are wonderful and not only that it has a subtle dusting of glitter over it which I thought tied in nicely with the shirt.

Up next are the garter socks from Sn@tch and boots from Baby Monkey. These two stores were some of the very first I’ve stepped into in my first few days of Second Life and I’ve come back time and again because of their quality products and generous designers. The Shannon garter socks pack contains thirteen different colors of system layered socks as well as Omega and Slink applier HUDs. It’s currently in one of Sn@tch‘s riot vendors and I got my copy at 63L. If you’re planning on getting these bring a friend or seven. Sn@tch has six riot vendors and you can try to see just how low you can bring them. When you’re done hop by to Baby Monkey to pick up these boots. Baby Monkey has a 20L join fee and past group gifts like those cute boots above cost 10L each.

The skin I’m wearing is 7 Deadly s{K}ins‘ latest group gift called Klaasje. I love the subtle makeup on the skin as well as the fact that this month’s gift was really very generous. Two system skins in the tone Caramel, Lelutka and Catwa mesh face applier, shape and eyebrow shape along with a style card. 7 Deadly s{K}ins has a group fee of 150L but the Klaasje skin and all past group gifts will be available to you for free this month so it’s most certainly worth it. To top it off is the Lyra hair from Alice Project that you can get for free by slapping their midnight mania board. There’s no group join required so this beautifully feathered style is just a click away. If colored hair is not to your taste the Lyra hair comes with a hud mishmash of fifteen different colors and I hope you find one that fits you perfectly. I did!

Hiya 😉 Today I am showing you a casual urban look that I put together this morning using a couple of freebies and some discounted items as well.  A trip to Sn@tch is what inspired my ensemble today.  Sn@tch always has so much to offer in the way of gifts and hunt items, and this time I had picked up a fatpack of Mesh Star Shirts for free in the lucky board.  The comfy looking Tully Jersey Capris are available as a fatpack in the riot vendor, sometimes as low as 50L depending on how many avatars are nearby.

I’ve been kind of absent in the blog due to RL. Some of you who I speak to regularly know the reason why and I would like to really thank you for your support at this time. I thought I would sneak a post today to let you guys in our huuuge FabFree family know Im doing ok and I promise normal service will resume soon *hugs you all*

As long as I can remember, I’ve loved the clothing made by Ivey Deschanel who owns the store Sn@tch. I remember finding the store and buying up nearly everything in it! Ivey always has been very generous in her sets, making outfits with different colours all included for reasonable prices. The same is true of her prizes inside of her Lucky Chairs, Mobvends and Lucky Fortunes. She also has a 7 Seas Fishing area set up where you can try to land another yummy set.

Here are the current things you can get your hands on at the store!

Everything here is available as prizes in the Lucky Chairs. The Clueless Tanks come in a fatpack of 8 colours and the Finger Lickin Dead Jeans come in a fatpack of 7 pairs each with a flame colour on the legs.. Below you can see the same outfit but using the Red colours in the packs. The Blow you Away Belt and the Union Jack Abby Boots are also gifts in the chairs.

Here Im wearing the Light Cords in Purple and the Trixie Thermal top in Black. Both are from fatpacks that are in the Lucky Chairs.  Below Im wearing the Light Cords in Blue and the Death Pixie top in Black which is from a fatpack that is the Lucky Fortunes gift!
