It’s been a long week, so my little doggie and I decided we’d take a mini va-cay and head out to a place where the water was nice and the weather was wonderful! After renting the perfect little waterside bungalow, we decided to check out the scenery. Jock was already dressed in his doggy best, and I bought a brand new bikini and a cute pair of shorts for the trip! I also picked up a cute bag and some pretty bangles, ’cause sometimes you just need accessories, even if you are wearing a bikini top as a shirt!

I was so excited to find this adorable mesh Summer Breeze Dress and Hair Flower in the Lamu Fashion marketplace store priced at 0L. The brightly coloured floral texture is just perfect for this time of year, and the price is sure right! I have added to my outfit a pair of slink add-on sandals called Kai that are currently being featured by ~{ZOZ}~ at The Summer of Love Fair that just opened today. These Kai Sandals come in a pack of three summery colours for 349L. My ~{ZOZ}~ Double Sparks Polish Slink Nail appliers on both my toes and fingers are also available at The Summer of Love Fair, and these are priced at only 75L for both the hands and feet, including 12 different colours!

Thank goodness its Friday! The weekend has landed and I’m here with my new friend Albert that I met while taking the pictures, to show some more amazing freebie finds for you to enjoy!
First, this amazing asymmetrical dress that is the new group gift by BLOKC! I love the shape of this dress and the bright pink and purple tones with the slight sparkly fabric pleases me so much. Pink and sparkle always makes me very happy! The group is free to join which also makes me very happy!
With the SLink Mesh Feet pretty much becoming the new normal in SL, finding low cost shoes to fit them can be quite a task. Thankfully the Demi-Heels for SLink High Feet by M-Nus are the perfect basic pair of heels that will go with almost everything so are a must have in your wardrobe, so be sure to get them while you can! For those curious as to what a Loud Mouth is (besides me when I’ve had a few cocktails ~laughs~), it is a mesh mouth that comes with optional mesh teeth like the ones I am wearing here that are gappy. You can also see the make up better on this skin as well as what the Loud Mouth appliers included with the skin look like. You will need to purchase the Loud Mouth mesh lips seperately to use the appliers included. I’ve used the same windlight setting for this portrait, which is [TOR] MIDDAY – Anime Ciel. I assure you that no editing has happened with this picture, only cropping in Photoshop. The mesh join with the mouth really is very unnoticable with this skin!
Below is what each tone looks like in a less stark windlight setting and with my normal mouth. For this I have used the windlight setting called Torie Senne WL Settings which is one of the many built in presets in the Firestorm Viewer. This windlight setting gives a truer view to how the skins look without shadows and bright light and is the general setting I use for every day SL when Im not trying to be all arty.
One tool I found invaluable today because my eyes really didnt want to play ball at looking at the camera, was the free AnyPose Expressions HUD I found on the Markeplace by Phate Shepherd Creations.
As you can see it has buttons for eye direction, hand gestures for normal SL hands and facial expressions! This is perfect for when your eyes want to do anything but look at the camera! Love originally blogged the HUD here and she is right about it being invaluable for anyone who models or takes pictures in SL!

I’ve updated my gift at the Fab Free Headquarters to these glossy black stilletto boots. They are one piece original mesh construction and resizable in any dimension with the included hud. This means you can make them fit a wide variety of avatar shapes and over/under some mesh clothing items that might give you trouble with rigged mesh items.
These will be free at the headquarters for at least a month. There are lots of other gifts there too, and they are updated regularly. No group membership required, but I recommend it.
