Find your Destiny at the Hair Fair!

Day 9 – HAIR FAIR ‘08

One of the most generous participants of the Hair Fair is from LaynieWear and Style You Destiny.  At this booth you can get dollarbie hair, clothes, skin, and poses.

First off from the LaynieWear booth the red/white Emilee hair with the Fire Fairy Cornsilk skin and costume.  Halloween is just around the corner and this look would be great for all you SheDevils!

Next, I am wearing the Burgundy Helen dress and Dark Faerie skin with the short carnival black Adra hair style.  The light cool brown Cindi hair with cat earred hat is perfect for girls of all ages.  I am wearing fun black stripe skin with Midnight Basic cuffed Capris and a long sleeve gathered Wench top.

With the medium auburn Astra hair, I am wearing a short sleeve gathered shirt and Midnight Basic Jeans. medium auburn Astra style.  The subtle skin I am wearing with the Astra style is called Nude4.  I am wearing Sparkle 3 skin and the blue Amie Peacock dress with the ash blonde Kate hair and hat.

The cuffed pink Basic Capris are adorable paired with the buttondown blueberry shirt from LayieWear.  With this adorable outfit I am wearing Vixen Silver Stripe skin and jade black Kate hair. There is also a pair of pink basic jeans in the huge dollarbie box of clothes.  I am wearing the belted blueberry buttondown shirt with the Snowflakes skin and black and white Marissa updo.

I am wearing the purple Swirly skin with the black/violet Dahlia hair style.  The green Cilantro Tabitha dress is another one of the many outfits in the dollarbie clothing box.  The Aztec makeup comes in 10 different skin tones.  If you are in a hurry and need to get somewhere fast just put on the brunette RoflCopter hair from LaynieWear and get there in a flash.  This hair puts out exhaust fumes and is based on a real life hair style.  I am wearing the dark denim Basic cuffed Capris and a pink belted button down shirt both of which can be found in the dollarbie gift at the Layniewear booth.  The Aztec makeup skin from SYD comes in ten different skin tones and can also be found at the Layniewear Hair Fair booth!  I am wearing the Barley skin tone.

For the guys you can get the sexy Kevin hair from the Calico Ingmann Creations booth.  And ladies, the medium length Alora style is in a gift for you.  Both of these styles come in a huge variety of colors.  The sexy brown and pink Veronica shorts and top are another gift from the LaynieWear booth!

The male skin is a freebie from Belleza.  I seriously need to find another place that has male freebie skin!

The black Ultimate Gladiator Mules are a special 1500 member group shoe from Shoe Fly Shoes.

Inga Wind + Skin Within + House of Heart = Delicious Results

Finally, a busy day has come to end … almost 😉 One more blog post … or two, maybe :-))

INGA WIND offers in her store in Pitreavie 160, 187, 38 a bunch of beautiful freebies and dollarbies (freebie wall in the back of the store). Shown in my pics are Lily Dress in black as well as in white -both are lovely designs and free -, the adorable Tango in gold dress (free) and one of Inga Wind`s dollarbies the cute swing with frame 🙂 I never can´t resist when I find this sort of stuff 🙂 The swing has 7 prims plus 1 prim for the frame. You can use it without frame, too.

Inga Wind`s free dresses come on 1 layer, each with pants, tops and skirt inkluding the belt. Very well done, pretty dresses! Also available for free or 1 Linden is jewellery. Take a look 🙂

Just a few words about the hunt (sadly, I missed the grand opening): you are looking for boxes scattered all over the sim (look at my pics). At your landingpoint you will see a sign  (not part of the hunt): get shopping bags and boxes for free when you click the sign, funny stuff 🙂 Near this sign is a teleporter. Use it to get into the different areas of the sim (flying is not allowed).Take your time, walk around, the boxes aren´t small but not too easy to find.

The sim is adorable, great ….. I`m in love with this place 🙂 All my pics are taken on Rahz Island, at various areas (Wheat Field, Alana Dagger Photography, Schutteltanz Square ….). I will come back to take a very, very close look … and taking more pics, I´m sure 🙂

Of course, not only the sim is wonderful, also your hunt gifts! I´m in an incredible hurry today … I didn´t manage to find all 14 (I think there should be 14 …) boxes (purchase for 0, nada, nothing, free!). I don´t list the designer of my finds, my apologizes! Please, look for yourself who´s the designer of your gifts. They are all great! Thank you 🙂

More Hair for Everyone!

Day 8 – HAIR FAIR ‘08

The booth for SkyShop HairResort at the Hair fair offers this silver short eLite style.  This hair would look great on guys as well as the ladies.  The Rayna II freebie from Alice Project has to be one of my favorites.  The ponytail is perfect for regular everyday wear and this hair is complete with colorchangeable script so you can choose from several different colors and shades.  The colors are all in natural tones, so no purple or pink hair with this one.  The blue heart print shirt is the gift from the Aoharu booth.  This shirt also comes in black, green, pink, and yellow.

Hair Solutions has two goodie bags at the Hair Fair.  The Eleanor updo comes in just about every color imaginable and the long layered Tamesia style comes in alburn, dark brown, onyx, and platnum.   The blue

There are three styles from Goldie Locks, each come in black, dark brown, dirty blonde and ginger red.  I am wearing the long pulled back Sammi in dark brown.  The wavy Sunshine style is swept back off the face.  I am wearing the ginger red color in the Sunshine hair.  The black Erika style is also a long hair, but the sides are pulled back in a twist.

The Kiss gift from the Hair fair includes two costume style hairs and one short everyday style which is good for both the men and women.  The Tayanna style comes in midnight and has a large plume headdress.  The midnight Itzli hair is a men’s costume style.  The shorter everyday Sandy style comes in Red Wine, Midnight, and French Toast.  This hair would look good on either of the sexes.  The black and white Kiss This shirt is also included in this gift from the Kiss booth.

At the hair fair booth for Discord Designs there is a nice Anthony style for the men.  This gift comes in midnight and dirty blonde.  The Vladimir beard comes in both colors and can be added to complete the look.

The three hair styles from Diversity Hair are mega color packs.   I am wearing the banded pigtail Misty style in earthen brown.  Jude is the men’s free hair from this gift.  It also comes in a huge variety of colors, but the one pictured is mocha brown.  I have on the tootsie brown color of the long layered Crimson style from Diversity Hair.

The male skin is a freebie from Belleza.  The female skin isn’t free, but it’s my normal Blowpop Mellie3 skin with freckles.  You can get the unmakeuped naked version for free.

Treasures of RFyre Hunt

RFyre is having a treasure hunt until Sunday (August 31). it ends at 6 pm slt.

What can you find?
Mastrius for Men: six pieces in verdigris treasure boxes hidden throughout the Isle. You will need to find all 6 to complete the outfit.
Twisted Swiss for Women: seven pieces in rose treasure boxes scattered throughout the Isle. You will need to find all 7 to complete the outfit.

There are various other wonderful treasures to be found, including a bustier I love, but I wanted to blog this fast to give our readers the chance to find these great gifts.

Note: Expect the kind of lag you would find at an event like Hair Fair and dress appropriately. Also, when I was hunting, they had forgotten to put out the pants to the Mastrius outfit and sent these to hunters, I don’t know if this has been corrected. This is not an easy hunt, you will have to search everywhere.

Day 7 – HAIR FAIR ‘08

At the GuRL 6 booth you can pick up the free gift which has three hair styles.  Each hair comes in 60 different colors and in small, medium, and large sizes.   The Cutesie hair is a messy updo.  The adorable braided pigtail Sugary style has color changeable hair bows.  The Indecent style is very long

From the Atelier Caraway booth you can get this green Tanken Shirt and pants, the pale Haruka skin, the orange and black tarzan outfit for men or women, and a pair of white socks.

At the Mystikal booth you can get this 1 Prim Natural Bob and Montezuma Headdress.  This hair is great for the low lag look.  Ravenwear’s gift is the Retroesque updo which comes in 13 different colors.  The long Ana pigtails are free from the Refuge booth.  I am wearing the dark brown shade but there are many other colors to choose from.

From Sanctum Hair you can get the yellow Pikachu jammies and slippers.  These pj’s would be great for any child AV.  The Morgan hair style from PUDGE comes in many different colors and the gift also includes four fabulous poses!

The Moonshine booth has two gifts.  The first gift comes with the Camdyn hair stlye, Snuggle Bear, and Blue Misty tank.  I am wearing the Camdyn hair in Claret, but the style comes in six different colors.  The second gift comes with the Lizbet pigtail bun style in 15 shades.

The Goggles hair girl is available in black, blonde, brown, red, and white and is only available at the Kin Hair Fair booth.  The long hippie Kestrel style from Kin is available in the same five colors.

LEYDA STYLEs my LUNACY with SYD`s BEWITCHED VACANO

I love hippie style and “retro touched” stuff, you already know it! I`m a cat lover. No matter what size the cats are, I love them all. You already know this, too. Did you know that I´m a bit crazy sometimes? Well, after reading my post you will be informed about my “lunacy” *LOL*

Dany Bimbogani left a tip on our hotline (thank you!), and I decided to take a look at LEYDA STYLE`s dollarbies. I saw jeans, great! But when I saw the new dollarbie offer “Baba Cool Outfit” … and started to do the “Hippy Hippy Shake” … *LOL* An old Beatles song, I think most of you are too young to know it 🙂 However, “Baba Cool” was a must have, quite my style again :-). Then I shaked it to the left, I shaked it to the right *giggles* (sorry, still humming this old song!) …… but there was no way for me to left LEYDA STYLE´s shop before I had “Leopard Jacket” (it´s 1 Linden) and matching pants (not free, 5 Linden) in my bag! For Godness`sake, here are the lyrics, so that you know what I´m talking about :-))). Crazy me, but I´m just in a awful good mood, and I`m happy with my new outfits :-))

What shoes to wear? I remembered a notice about dollarbie heels, tiger striped … so I “tped” head over heels over to LUNACY to grab the great “Prozaak Heels Tiger Stripe” for 1 Linden before they are gone (there´s a wall/sign with Prozaak heels, but only the tiger striped heels are a dollarbie).

Next stop was at VACANO & STINE. The store is redecorated now, it looks really cool. Also the Lucky Chair filled with some retro furniture and cute ballerinas is still there. The free offer are the cute “Pike Fetish Deluxe Plum Shoes” . You`ll find your “fetish” on the table amongst other normal prized shoes. But they are plum … easy to find :-)) I wear them together with the “Baba Cool” outfit. I know, it´s more “a retro-fetish meets hippie style” but quite charming 😉 Quickie time … better go now for both pair of shoes (if you are in the need of a fetish or prozaak *coughs*) Huh? Oooh, yes, of course, I already had my medicines today :-)))

Okay … to come to an end: my pretty skin is “Rose Petal”, a dollarbie by SYD, and the gorgeous hair with hat is “Liv natred” (part of wearable “Natural Color Demos”) by BEWITCHED.

B@R is having a cool scavenger hunt that awards some pretty nifty gifts for solving clues from a story. No need to work, this scavenger hunt is easy. The only tricky part might be the last two clues (think flight feather and on #4 and sit on #5). For your work as a super sleuth, you get two wonderful dresses for girls a great suit of armor for guys, and a crystal dragon avatar (mm.. gender to be determined).

To start the hunt, teleport here and buy the book on the pedestal for 0$L. Read the first chapter, and follow the hints to get the first parts of the treasure. You will have to get each chapter of the story to complete the hunt. HINT: Do NOT right click on the objects.
