Hair Fair Madness!

Day 3 – HAIR FAIR ‘08

Well, I’m slowly going through all these lovely hair styles and I have tons of styles to show you today.

At the booth for Magika Hair there is a gift with three adorable hair styles.  The platinum blonde Dream hair pulled back in a simple barrette is perfect for showing off your beautiful face.  The pixie Cupcake style in black is a cute fun style that would even look great on child aviators.  The long pigtail maroon Flow II style is very classy with a black headband.

Another gift from Maitreya is the Aimee hair.  This hair comes in a fatpack of colors and I’m positive you will find one that works for you.

Adam n Eve has a gift for the females as well as the males.  The swept back Janie style for the ladies comes in a large variety of colors.  There is also a sexy blue Lea teddy and stockings in this gift.  The gift for the men comes with a black Aztec t-shirt and the long Loki hair style in black, blond, and brown.

The Wilted Rose booth has many styles for both the men and women, even some that are versitale.  Men you can get this Bold longer hair in a mega pack of colors.  The black Preppy style and Eddie hair also comes in a large variety of colors.

Wilted Rose also has many unisex styles.  This Beachy Chestnut style comes in a many different colors and the hat is color changeable.   For shorter hair the black Sleek style is nice for both the men and women.  The punkish pink and black Mohawk is wild and has a ton of different color options.

There are also three hair styles specifically for the ladies and all come in a huge selection of colors.  The chestnut Sweeties style frames the face nicely.  I am also wearing the chestnut color in the long Erika ponytail.  This short curly Feist style comes in all colors and has a color changeable hair band.  I instantly thought of FabFree’s very own Scotti when I had this hair on.  Wouldn’t it look adorable on her?  (I actually think I made a fashion faux pas and have a different color bang on with the hair!)

The male skin is a freebie from Belleza.  The female skin isn’t free, but it’s my normal Blowpop Mellie3 skin with freckles.  You can get the unmakeuped naked version for free.

*Keep an eye on my posts for more free and dollarbie hair that you can only get at the hair fair. You never know, I might be keeping the best for last.

Hair Fair 2008 – Pink, Rezzable Discover ( 205/51/23 )

Hair Fair 2008 – Red, Rezzable Discover ( 51/51/23 )

Hair Fair 2008 – Purple, Rezzable Discover ( 205/206/23 )

Hair Fair 2008 – Orange, Rezzable Discover ( 50/205/23 )

I read today that the Hair Fair is experiencing the worst lag in SL history.  I sent a challenge out for original low lag AV creations.  Lemania Indigo was up to the Low Lag Aviator challenge and sent me her creation.  You can grab the dollarbie Esther WIlliams Low Lag Skin and Eyes at Lemania Indigo Designs Main Store.  This look is very detailed and attractive specially since it’s only one prim!  The log lag look is great for any big event, including hunts and yes even the hair fair.  I loved the eyes so much that I have worn them in every picture.  They are stunning!

The challenge still remains!  Create a low prim AV, the total prims must equal to the magical number of 1 and can not be any higher.  The creation must be original and all your own.

Send me the AV in a folder and either give me permission to share the look in a gift for other members or give me the Slur so I can lead them to it.  Let me share you’re best 1 prim looks.  I want your most clever, cutest, unusual, sexy, witty original creation.

The most important rule is to be creative!

Hair Fair Challenge!

Day 2 – HAIR FAIR ‘08

Wow… you wouldn’t believe all the amazing free or dollarbie hair I have in my inventory right now. It’s so hard to decide which styles and colors to keep.

Anyways… So are you ready to see more of these beautiful gifts?

This southern girl loved the Rylie hair from Damselfly Hair Salon. The Rylie pack has every color you could imagine. It is taking me a very long time to decide which shade of brown to use. I just never knew there were so many different shades of brown!

I told you about the Lonnie hair from Here Comes Trouble on yesterday’s post. Since my hair pile is so huge I didn’t notice there are two gifts from there. The other hair is this cute pony tail called Talan. The color I am wearing is, of course, brown, but the pack is huge so you should be able to find the color you wear. And it’s not a fair with out some cotton candy hair! I love the whimsical texture of thisALiCe style from Sparkle Skye Designs. The bow is color changeable so you can match it to your outfit!

Last but not least… Analog Dog! I was truly ecstatic about this getting this gift! I have a few styles from Analog Dog already in my inventory and I will definitely be making room for these. First up, thedirty blonde Jasmyn and sun Madison hair styles. I rarely wear curly tresses but these are so amazing! If you wear curly locks you really should try to get to theAnalog Dog booth!

For the straight haired girls the bleached Luicee style is perfect! The brunette Pin ponytail is one of my favorites from the gift box. You probably can already guess why… It’s Brunette!!! And who doesn’t love an adorable ponytail!

Last but not least the red Esse updo is great for a formal occasion. I’m thinking I might need this in brunette… strike that, I need all of these in brunette!

Hazel posted the adorable shirts from SYSY’s in a previous post. So scroll down. I am wearing the black Fashion Maffia t-shirt. These shirts are in jacket form so guys you can wear them too without doing the mid-drift look! The skin isn’t free, but it’s my normal Blowpop Mellie3 skin with freckles.

I realized that that there are some that may not know how to find their prim count. So I’m gonna tell you how. If you have the latest version of Second Life downloaded then here’s what you do. First you need the Advanced menu option to be opened in the toolbar. The toolbar should have File, Edit, View, World, Help, and Advanced. If you don not see the Advanced menu you can easily access this by holding down Ctrl+Alt+D on a PC and for a Mac Option+Shift+Open Apple+D. In the Advanced menu look for Rendering then go to Info Displays and then Avatar Rendering Cost.

(Advanced>Rendering>Info Displays>Avatar Rendering Cost).

Okay, so now there should be no excuses!

That being said, I have a challenge for you. I was sent a low lag AV by a loyal reader. With the Keep Lag Low AV, created by Isolde Redstar, my prim count is 1. With her permission I am sending it to the Fabulously Free in SL group. So look for the box in the notices!

My challenge to the FabFree community is to create a low prim AV. The total prims must equal to the magical number of 1 and can not be any higher. The creation must be original and all your own.

Send me the AV in a folder and either give me permission to share the look in a gift for other members or give me the Slur so I can lead them to it.

I have a ton of guy hair to show you and guys are gonna need a log lag look as well so they can venture into the Hair Fair.

So that’s the challenge… let me share you’re best 1 prim looks. I want your most clever, cutest, unusual, sexy, witty original creation.

The most important rule is to be creative!
