Eclectic Body Heat

Last night I went to E! – Eclectic Apparel and Accessories to pick up the new Halloween Calypso dress for only L$1.  This dress comes with five different options for the bra top in apple, caramel, eggplant, orange, and pumpkin.

There are several gift boxes scattered throughout E! – Eclectic Apparel and Accessories.  The brown turtleneck sweater dress is great for the cooler weather.  There also is a brown sweater for the men.

The white spangled top, white ballet top, and spider slippers are other gifts scattered around E! – Eclectic Apparel and Accessories.

I adore the black fur trim cloak that was sent to the The Black Canary sub-o group members.  This cloak looks amazing on the ladies and men!

There are two new gifts out for Vinyl Cafe group members.  The teal corset dress with the ruffled skirt is a gift at Vinyl Cafe.  All other colors of this dress are only L$50 through the weekend.  The yellow zip stilettos with fishnet socks are a gift at The Dominion Fashion District.

The tan Sheer Beauty Sicily skin is a welcome gift for joining the Body Heat Skins subscriber.  This is a great skin for those who like to use the make-up layers and create different looks.  I used several makeups from the gatcha at AndGod to change up this skin.  The gatcha has every eyeshadow shade you could imagine at only L$20 a play.

Otsukimi Hunt

At a small cafe “Hakkaku-DO” was busy for Otsukimi.  The cafe owner Seri had cooked many Odango (Japanese sweets) that morning.  Seri was so busy she did not have time for Otsukimi (to eat Odango).  Wafun, the cafe’s pet, began to eat the Odango when Seri was not looking.  As a punishment Wafun was divided into 17 small Chibi Wafun.  The small wafun have much smaller mouths and can not eat Odango.  All 17 Chibi Wafun must be found and then pray in a Shinto Shrine in order to restore Wafun.

The Otsukimi Hunt began September 18th and continues until the 26th.  There are 17 chibi wafun hidden throughout the Roman and Taisyo sims.  Find all 17 and return to the Shinto Shrine for a grand prize.  Below are the gifts you will find on this hunt.

Visual Hunt

I had a notecard come through this morning about the Visual Hunt. Sixteen stores are involved and the hunt object you are looking for is an dark grey gothic cross. Each cross costs 10L but believe me it is totally worth it. The hunt goes on until July 31st and its great fun to learn more about the J Rock and Visual Kei culture in SL aswell as RL.

Kanzen ni Jrock is the starting point, but I failed in finding the actual hunt item there. There are several shops in one area here so you might get confused but its only a small area so you won’t be searching for hours. If you can’t find it, number 2 stop in the hunt is Actuate Eden

Mini Hunt @ Roman Sim & Other Goodies

Going through my notices this morning, I got word that there was a mini hunt at Roman Sim and the neighbouring Taisyo Sim. Its called the Seven Herbs of Spring hunt and you have to look for 7 varieties of Herbs to claim their contents.

Christmas Hunt @ Necrosis Noctis

The stores at the Necrosis Noctis Sim are holding a Christmas Hunt that starts from today and runs until December 25th. You are looking for little Gingermen scattered around the various stores in the Sim and each gift costs 10L to buy. Considering that you are getting some amazing gifts from stores such as The Black Canary and Nightshade Designs this is a real bargain!

I spent this morning wandering around the Sim and gathered all the delicious goodies I could find so I could show you what was on offer. I am sure I caught everything as I am usually a hawk eye when it comes to hunting and I scoured the sim several times – but it is possible that I missed a few. There was no total number on the notecard so I can’t tell you how many there are to find, but I found 13.

On to the gifts. I will tell you what came from which store, but not where its hidden – wouldnt want to take away all the fun *grins*

There are two gifts from NoCoNoMo. One of them is this adorable set.. You get the Fairy Wand, the Candy Cane Horns, The Christmas Corset, A Santa Hat (which isnt worn in this picture) and adorable Christmas themed Bat Wings which you can see in better detail below. The Hat worn in this picture is the second gift from NoCoNoMo and comes with the hair attached.

 

There are two gifts from SouZou Eien. One contains this Christmas themed Vampire Slayer belt and two versions of candycanes for you to munch on while patrolling for pesky Vamps out to spoil the holidays! Hooray! (no offence to said Vamps… I love you guys really 😛 ) In the second gift from SouZou Eien is this snuggley Teddy! Yay!

This is the Yuki Hime Kimono outfit. It is so beautiful. You can choose to wear it with or without the long Kimono sleeves that I am wearing in the picture and it will still look just as beautiful. The picture really doesnt do the detailing justice.

This is the Eccentric Jacket and is just stunning. A purely Gothic Styled Winter coat.. the fur detailing is gorgeous and its so snuggly and warm and I love the chains and crosses on the front fastenings. The hair worn in these pictures is the Winter Bliss hair gift from Nightshade Designs
