On Sunday, Allison was the quick brown fox and I was the lazy dog.  While I was still meandering through the SWANK event, Allison was already snapping pics and showing you free gifts HERE.  As I read her post and continued to unpack, I found this adorable set I just had to blog, and got lucky she didn’t find it first. 😉

There’s a reason we battle to bring you the best freebies in a hurry!  If you don’t know about them you can’t pick them up!  I went to SWANK, and found the golden globes that hold all the free anniversary gifts, and came home with so many great things.

This Kara Set, by Dark Angel, was my favorite.  It’s sweet and darling with a side of sexy.  The wrinkles and creases are so realistic.  It fits like a glove.  It comes rigged for:

Meander with me

A sweet delicate set requires some pretty and delicate earrings, and I found those over at Meander/Me.  They were 3L and part of the Harambee Love The Dragon Hunt.  There’s a hint in the dragon plush on the sign and was pretty easy to find if you use your hunting tricks.  You can find a close up picture of the earrings, as well as all the other hunt items and hints HERE.  This hunt also ends on September 30th, so you have all month to hunt.

Time to Escape!

Have you ever heard the song “Manic Monday” by The Bangles?  Today feels like that for me, so I say it’s time to escape before I have to run off to RL work!  In my posts here and here, I shared some budget-friendly clearance finds, and Gus and I are back to share one more.

It Didn’t Take Long to Figure Out What I’m Gonna Wear…

once I returned to the clearance sale at Elikatira, that is.  The Riya Tee is a long-sleeved cropped top that features ruffled trim on the sleeves and hemline, a flattering fit, and a cute little bow.  Its scooped neckline shows a bit of cleavage, but still preserves modesty.  This top is soft and feminine, and will carry you through into early fall.  I picked up the fatpack of colors for just 50L$, but you can also purchase a combo of 4 colors for just 25L$.  The enclosed HUD gives you 24 color options for the bow.  How’s that for a manic Monday find?

I completed my outfit with the Raeni Skirt.  This mini skirt, like the Riya Tee, is part of the sale at Elikatira.  I picked up the fatpack version for just 50L$, but you can also buy sets of four colors for 25L$.   The skirt offers a low-rise waistband and a generous, pleated hem that falls to your upper thigh.  You’ll probably want to use the alpha layer on your mesh body or the optional panties to provide full coverage.  I opted to tint the pretty ribbon belt to match my top for a cohesive look, but you could also choose from 24 color options for the ribbon belt and 16 hues for the panties.
