Last tricks, last treats

Halloween is coming to a close, so I spent the day gathering the last bit of treats on Second Life.   I went to the Halloween Sales event where I found this great Paloma fishnet bodysuit by ToG for free.  This is just one of many free gifts that are in pumpkins tied in black ribbons outside of almost every vendor’s booth.  I also found this great Freyr face tattoo by Fallen Gods.  It comes in both gold and black BOM.  Halloween Sales is running until November 4th, so you don’t want to wait to long to get all your free goodies.

Since the bodysuit is a bit revealing, I needed some pasties so I could wear it outside.  I found these free pasties from Mad’ on the marketplace.  The pasties come in both white and black options as well as BOM and applier for Maitreya, Omega, TMP and Lola.  To finish the look, I picked up the Softgirl Makeup Set from Heartful for free on the marketplace for my eyeshadow and blush.

Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow

Ok, I have a two pronged attack going on for my post today.  Number one:  I love guinea pigs.  They are by far the cutest little furballs ever, and it’s awesome how they purr when you give them a cuddle.  Phew. I got that out of my system!

Item number two is some sad news, unfortunately!  The Stay at Home Club will be closing down operations quite soon.  On September 25th, the website, Discord, and inworld group will all be shutting down.  You can read all about the reasoning HERE.  Despite the sadness, I have to say that Stay At Home have brought me personally quite a bit of joy over the past few months!  2020 has for sure been a bit of a kick in the pants for us all, and the club has brought me some happiness on days when I needed it the most.  A big thank you to the organizers, Freya, Zac and Alex who put a lot of love into the whole thing.  Thanks guys!  We’ll miss you!

Heya Fab Free!  I’m basking in the waters again keeping cool.  I feel like I may have achieved two levels of cool with both a nice refreshing popsicle and cool water, while also being cool in my new accoutrements.  You can’t beat a new sexy bathing suit for summertime, now can you?

Bathing Beauty

My collection of bathing suits in SL probably didn’t need adding to, but come on.  How can you possibly say no to something this sexy?  Not only does it feature a cool camo texture, but also some awesome meshy cutouts and rings on the hips.  The details are pretty superb.  I picked it up over at V-Tech, by joining their group for free.  There’s a bunch of different gifts there for all sorts of bodies, including boi chests and Maitreya bodies!  There are also arm warmers and stockings in the box to turn this outfit into something a little more daring.

A Little Sparkle

I picked up a bit of a different type of group gift over at Blaxium as well – and that’s the shimmer you see all over my body.  It gives a bit of a wet look at full intensity and a nice soft shimmer when it’s down a bit lower.  This body shimmer comes with an applier for Maitreya bodies, and can be adjusted through the HUD in the applier tab.  Just use the “Glossiness” slider to adjust how much of the sparkle you see.  To get yours, join the Blaxium group for 150L, and pay the vendor 1L which will then be returned to you.  There are a few other gifts there too!

When one requires a little something special to entice or reward, one can usually find something quite lovely in SL to fit the occasion.  I may just have found a little somethin’ somethin’ that fits the bill for just such a special occasion!

There’s a little mini hunt going on at Kaleidoscope Island!  A bunch of stores got together and have provided super cute 5L prizes that are, as you might have guessed quite hot!  The SL Hot Hunt is going on for the next little while inside the building you will land in.  Just look for the little red puffy words that say “hot” and you’ll get yourself a whole bunch of cute prizes.  I grabbed one of the 5L prizes by Amataria (sized for Maitreya), and I’d say it’s pretty intense.  There’s a whole bunch of hotness waiting for you at the SL Hot Hunt, so tp over!
