Who knew that I needed something with purple and gold? Those are the colors for Louisiana State University. When you grow up in South Louisiana you become a LSU Tigers fan. I decided to look for the mascot, Mike the Tiger. Little did I know that he is on a little vacay. Someone said to search the swamps because he loves it there. So yeah, I found a swamp to look for him. I’m still searching. I don’t think he wants to be bothered while on his swampy vacay.

Today, I’m showing off the latest group gift from Ewa Boutique. It was delivered in group notices to celebrate reaching a total of 15,000 members. This darling little dress has a hud full of shiny vibrant colors to choose from. It’s a great dress for clubbing or partying. It’s short so make sure you wear something to cover your goodies. I chose the Tiger’s colors on the hud. That’s my story & I’m sticking to it.

There are also a number of timed promo boards around the store with prices ranging from $10L to $99L. With all of those perks it’s a great group to join if you can & stay in it.

My necklace is a hunt gift at the Third Annual Mermay Hunt. You’re searching for pearls that range in price from $0 -$25L. I found most of the pearls in the hunt. They are fairly easy to spot. I’m wearing one of the hunt gifts: the Belinda necklace from Slavia. The texture change hud allows you to change textures on the different parts of the necklace. The hunt ends on May 20th so get over there and hunt. The necklace costs $25L.

The last part of my look today are the earrings I picked up at the Fameshed 12th Anniversary. These are the Sila earrings gift from Orsini. You will need to join the free Fameshed group. The event runs until May 27th.

Wicked Game

Well guys, I thought I’d lay it all out here on the line this Valentine’s Day, in case that handsome Vinny is single and ready to mingle.  I been crushing on that guy since I met him, but he’s elusive, and I have no idea if he’s even single!  All signs point to yes, he’s always at the gym, and driving around in that manly jeep, but ….. sighs, maybe he’s just not into girls 😉   I’ll have to ask around.

If he IS single,  I thought I’d put myself out there.  Like REALLY out there.  All arrows point to ME!  I put on my sexy new outfit from Purplemoon at the Love Bites Hunt and and did the best impression of a standing centerfold as I could.  We’ll see.

The Love Bites Hunt is another TR Events hunt that we all love and adore.  Tis the season for that!  Aline blogged some awesome things she picked up from Loki HERE, and I picked up these items from Purplemoon.  I love this beautiful top with the delicate heart cut outs.  And these shorts!  Pretty darn sexy.  Lastly the headband with the arrow, because clearly I’m advertising myself!  These items cost 25L each and they come sized for:

There are so many awesome items at the Love Bites Hunt, we could never blog them all.  You can find the keys to all the items ahead of time HERE.  You’ll also get a notecard with all the keys delivered to you at the landing point as well.  It takes a good bit of hunting, they really make you work, but that’s why the items are so inexpensive, you’re working for them!  The Purplemoon hunt object is a green heart with the words “Sweet Pea” on it.  The hunt lasts through February 19th, so there’s still a few days to go hunting.  Maybe you’ll find a special outfit to wear next year, in case you have your eye on anyone special 😉

Walk The Dinosaur

Just a quick one for you guys today, Fab Free, because ………. Nostalgia!  When I saw the keys for The Snowbound Hunt (that you can look at here) I squealed and knew one of the first things I’d be hunting for is this awesome backdrop from The Bearded Guy, called Frozen Ages Backdrop for only 25L!  I have no doubt that no matter what age you are, you’ve seen at least one of these movies.  The original, I’m sure I’ve seen a gazillion times.  Full disclosure, the backdrop only comes with the one giant acorn on the cliff, I found some others from Disorderly in my inventory I stretched to giant and added to the ground.

Time’s Running Out!

Not for the Ice Age, of course, that lasted a lot longer than The Snowbound Hunt, but time is running out for hunting!  The Snowbound Hunt is only open through January 21st, so if you want any of these prizes you gotta scoot over there NOW-ish 😉  I have a bunch of outfits I was never able to squeeze in and blog for you (or doing too many posts on this one event felt like over-kill) but this Kinsley Outfit from MOoH! was so warm and toasty, perfect for the Ice Age.  As you’ll see on the key, it comes in a pattern package and a solids package for both the boots and the coat.  Only 25L each, and each set comes with 5 patterns or colors.  It comes sized for:

The nice thing about sizing for this outfit is, it essentially fits everyone. Freezing To Death

January is such an unusually quiet month in Second Life, it’s no wonder all of us were eagerly awaiting the opening of The Snowbound Hunt!  Aline blogged about it the night it opened here.  This is a hunt run by the same person who puts on Spookzilla, fun!  There’s a bunch of keys on FLICKR here, or once you land at the hunt, you’re delivered a nifty little notecard that has all the keys embedded.  Each prize costs from 0L-25L and there are a bunch for you to find!  Each store has a different texture on their holiday bauble ornament, and you have to look in some crazy places to find them.

Snowzilla?

Yep, I’m gonna do it.  I’m gonna skip ahead a whole bunch of holidays since, yanno, Allison called me out for dressing like a bunneh 😉   Although this time, I’m skipping all the way to another cool weather holiday, Halloween!  Or as many of our Second Lifers call it, daily wear!
As for what I hunted for in The Snowbound Hunt, you’d better believe I was after all the items from La Maldita Bruja!  She has both ‘death’ outfit, and a ‘love’ outfit, but I from what I hear in chat, we’re already lamenting being showered in love for a month, so I chose death 😉   I’m wearing 4 items I found from LMB in this picture, the death dress, shoes, and coffee – which were 25L each, and as LMB always does, a free gift to find – some blush.  The blush is 0L, and it comes as regular blush, or with a little skull on your cheeks for the death blush, and a little heart on your cheeks for the love blush.  Adorbs.  The dress and shoes come in these sizes:

Don’t get me wrong, I hunted for A LOT of items on The Snowbound Hunt, I’m sure I’ll be showing you others, but high on my list was this hat by FOI.  The Beary Cold hat has a few different versions of fluffiness in the package, and each package comes with a 4 color hud to change the hat and the label.  I bought them all, because, CUTE!  It’s unrigged with a resizer, so it’ll fit everyone, and it surely keeps your noggin’ all warm and toasty so you can think clearly in all this cold.

The Snowbound Hunt is only open until January 21st, so there’s time but not a lot of time.  Don’t sleep on this one, no matter how cold you are!
