Hello Fabulous Readers!  I visited a new-to-me store today and came away with this sizzling free group gift.

I’ve seen items from the Cute for You store pop up in some of the weekend sales recently, so I went today to have a look around. Behind the main sales desk, a staircase leads to the group gift and lucky boards on the second floor.  There is a 99L$ fee for joining the Cute for You group, but it gives you access to this free halter style top and shorts set (outfit # 322) that I am wearing, plus the opportunity to try to win 8 prizes on lucky boards.  There’s also a daily prize board with a free gift card if the daily target is hit.  This racy outfit features a bralette adorned with a ruffled trim and curve-hugging short shorts.  I like the detail of the silver belt, which accentuates your hips.  The folder includes a texture change HUD, which allows you to choose from twenty color options for the top, shorts, neck strap, and strings.

Surprise Gift

Allow me to set the scene: I was exploring stores that I haven’t been to, just having a nice wander around to see what’s what. That’s how I ended up at R3HAB. It’s a nice sim and I enjoyed my visit there, but wait. In the entrance of the store by the front desk there is a pink table with a gift on top, and a sign that says, “Pss…Join Goat66 and take the gift.” Not being one to disobey a random sign, I did just that. Afterwards I noticed an identical table outside near the weekend sale items. Anyway, I joined the free “G.O.A.T66 Sale” group and clicked the box, and was rewarded with this lovely free dress. The sleeves are separate from the dress if you prefer sleeveless, and it includes a really great fatpack HUD to color the dress, bow, and trim separately. I don’t know how long this free gift will be available but the current round of GOAT 66 ends on July 31st so I’d get to R3HAB before then, if I were you.

Forgotten Gift

And then there is one other thing that I’m dying to show you. It’s this skin, dear FabFree, and it is stunningly gorgeous. I was at the Skinnery admiring the skins and wishing I paid full price for things because they are completely perfect. That’s when I saw this skin on the free group gift wall. Oh happy day. It’s actually from Christmas time and I already had it in my inventory, just never unpacked it. D’oh. The Skinnery makes simply amazing things and this is no exception. This free group gift for the currently free to join group is a fatpack of Skinnery skin tones, with brow and no brow versions plus ears for each. I had no problem matching them to my Velour skin though and ended up wearing toffee with my sienna.

Even better – the Skinnery group is currently free to join! Yesssss. The group gifts feature lots of makeup and things that I’m sure you’ll enjoy even if you don’t want a new skin. There are also things for the guys, and in fact the most recent free group gift is for the men out there. The group will be free until July 31st. This is definitely a “join and stay in” situation.

A Flower in the Desert

Sometimes, I put on a freebie find and I look for the perfect spot to take a photo, and sometimes, I see a perfect spot for a photo, and I know what to put on.  That’s where we’re at today.

Desert Rose

I picked this dress up a bit ago on Marketplace for 10L.  It’s made by Gin Perdide and it’s called Wildflowers.  It’s such a classic dress, well fitting, beautiful floral print, cute little bows at the slits on your thigh.  Last week, I saw Kharanaq at Natthummel in the destination guide, this beautiful desert created after a spot in central Iran, and just knew I wanted to wear a green floral dress to this dry, warm desert.

I do love me some Marketplace finds 😉  As I’ve been showing you all the different freebies from Xuxu on Marketplace this week, this is my favorite free gift.  It appeared in Fab Finds quite a while ago (Aline always finds the best stuff) but I’ve been wanting to use it in a picture, and keep forgetting.  This pocket watch gift comes in gold, silver and black and it is 0L on Marketplace.

I’ve blogged my headpiece before but it’s worth another mention, this is the Poppy crown from HARO.  It’s quite a gorgeous free gift, and no group is required to bring it home with you.  Either click the sign or pay 0L and it’s yours!
