Ladies. It’s confession time. I “may” have gone a little nuts at the Dubai Event. Most stands have a 49L sale item, and, well, I just couldn’t help myself. There were soooo many cool items to chat about, but I have to focus on just a few. I found this cute little 49L dress called Callie from Rainn and simple sweet Sherri heels (also 49L) from Tantrum.
The cute little retro dress only comes in this color, but I love Tiffany blue, so I liked it right away. The shoes…oh Ladies…the SHOES! The HUD has all KINDS of colors and three areas to choose what you want. They are simple yet pretty and go with any outfit you might have stashed away.
As I was putting together this outfit with the 49L pose set called “This Beautiful Life” from West End, I totally got the “naughty housewife” vibe…I mean, I DID just spend, um, a lot, on makeup, shoes, clothes and, well, if I were a wife, I’d definitely be a naughty one!
My gentle readers…I’ve just returned from a week in Vegas. It was for RL work, but STILL…Vegas! I came back to SL to find all sorts of fun fabulous things including The Farmer’s Market! To get these goodies, you go to each store and find the farm stand. Everything is less than 80L. This cute outfit named Kacey is by Amias. This color cost 75L, but there are other colors at full price. The necklace, adorably enough, is ALSO called Kacey (did they plan that?), and cost 65L at Michan. There are several different metal choices, but each comes with a HUD for the gem. The silver is pictured below.
As I catch up with all the SL goodies out on the grid, I found the Farmer’s Market to be a lot of fun!!!

Ladies, it’s Confessions with Desi. I miss Gachas. I loved me a good Gacha event back in the day (like last year). But, the rules changed and now we have Next Up machines. I will admit that I am kind of a fan of them, as I am wasting a lot less money on stuff I don’t want, but I am not standing around for days hoping someone pulls the stuff I don’t like so I can get what I do. It’s an odd joy when I show up to a machine and there are back to back prizes that I really like. Such was the case at the Evil Bunny Productions “Up for Grabs” Next Up Event. The event runs until February 28th.
I picked up the free gifts at some of the vendors and then looked over the machines. There were some cute things I really wanted, but, alas, they weren’t the next up items…they weren’t even on the board yet…so I will have to wait for a Next Up Yardsale. But, then….THEN…I got to the Fatal Fashion machine! Waiting for my 50L pull was this adorable little dress and the next item was, luckily, the matching panties!
How lucky!!! I quickly scored these two fine articles of virtual bliss for 50L each before someone else jumped in to steal my pull (I mean, that’s never actually ever happened anywhere, but there is a real fear). I love this cute little outfit!!!
Hey FabFree! Happy April! Can you believe this year is sprinting by so quickly. Seems like just a day or two ago we were all about Christmas gifts and now the Easter Bunny is hoppin’ right along. And what better way to usher the bunny and Spring in than a bunch of new Hunts?
I started with the April Hunt and two of my favorite designers! My new Spring pink little dress is from The Sissy Bar. The “April Dress” is awash in cute flowers and makes me think of nothing but bees buzzing and Spring breezes. Like everything I’ve had from The Sissy Bar, ‘April’ is beautifully patterned and so well made right down to the details. Plus, it’s just 1L when you find the little blue butterfly it’s hiding in.

You can never go wrong with good shoes. So when I saw Lindy’s was offering a super cute pair of flats, I was all over it. I love Lindy’s shoes. They are always perfectly made, fit exactly and always sooo cute. The “Lae” flats in pink are no exception to the rule. And how awesome is it that they match the ‘April’ dress?? Like they were made for each other.
The April Hunt runs from today till the 30th of April, so you have plenty of time to go scoop up all the goodies!

WOW… it’s the end of November… already! Winter is right around the corner. Of course, lot’s of us have already seen snow and cold temps so that corner is not far off. With all this weather, I decided to do a one store indoors Hunt for the Blog today.
When I got the notice that LsR was doing a 15L in store Winter Hunt, I hollered at Aline, “Did you get this? Let’s go hunt, girl!” And we jumped right in! Cause great minds think alike! And we even ended up picking very similar outfits for some matchy matchy goodness.
I’m wearing the frilly little ‘Sexy Sannae’ dress. You’ll get a HUD to change the color of the ruffle on both the sleeves and the bodice. Be sure to wear your nice panties with this one, ladies cause it is a little cheeky. 😉
Aline picked out the ‘Sexy Yanika’ dress today. If you pick this one too, you’ll actually get three dresses for your 15L prize money. The dress comes in white, white with a polka dot print and a white lace pattern. Plus a HUD to change the color of the buttons.
Sizes Included for Both
Belleza – Freya, Isis

SLink – Hourglass
* Yanika doesn’t include the Maitreya Petite size
The LsR Winter Hunt only runs until the 5th of December so hurry hurry and get your hunt on!

I received very sad news today, FabFree. The Stay at Home Club is closing it’s doors as of September 25. I will be very sorry to see them go. I certainly got used to picking up all the great free gifts. But… all good things come to an end, I suppose.
I am glad I had time to pick up these great cargo pants from FurtaCor. These are the ‘Owen’ pants and while the Club is still open, you can get them for free. The pants come with a HUD to choose one of fifteen colors and patterns. As with everything I’ve seen from FurtaCor, these are a great build right down to the details. I would suggest, however, that you don’t wait around to grab these before the Stay at Home Club is just a fond memory.
Signature – Gianni
One quick note, you may see that there is no Belleza Jake size. I have discovered that Altamura fits Jake rather well. Good to know.
I am *thisclose* to going on a rant about the joys of cereal. I am wrestling with myself over the importance of declaring my love for anything cinnamon-flavoured in a cereal bowl, and maybe even discussing the magic of miniature marshmallows nestled into a sugary bowl of goodness. Well, I guess I did go on a little tangent about cereal, didn’t I? Sometimes I just can’t help myself!
It’s All About Quinnty’s
There’s a new group gift at Quinnty’s! There are so many colourful, fun 80’s inspired, geeky(ish) goodies there that I always get a bit excited about a new gift. This outfit comes with the jacket, jeans and even the shoes (sized for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink)! I’m vaguely obsessed with reading all the writing on the clothing, and was even a bit giddy when I saw “always bring a banana to a party” on the shoes. Yeah, Doctor Who reference for the win! Anyway, grab your very own Mae outfit at Quinnty’s by joining the group for 50L. There are a pile of other gifts while you’re there too, as well as some group member deals, so do check those out as well!
Cinnamon Chex, anyone?

Welcome back for this, another late night edition of Fab Free Designer Friday. Cureless is our designer for this week, so get ready for something a little, or a lot, different. Different done beautifully, Cureless is a clothing and accessories shop with a style that leans toward kawaii but is heavy on the creepy factor. So creepy kawaii? That’s a thing, right?! Even the shop location on the Curemore sim has a sort of a dark dystopian vibe.
At Cureless most of what you’ll find is for female avatars, however there are some things that are either unisex or made for male avatars also. There’s everything from clothing and accessories to body modifications like tattoos, and eyes. I do feel I should warn, some of what is available at Cureless is rather gory, expect to see some blood and horror themed items. There’s a lot for role players here as well. The styles range along the dark fantasy lines including goth, anime, cybernetics, and everything in-between. All of it is in gorgeous if gory detail. There’s even large section of creepy but cool body modifications and scarification tattoos. Honestly, Cureless is the type of store that you just need to experience all they have to offer for yourself. If you’re not bothered by the afore mentioned creep factor that is.
As for the Cureless Store group, it has a one time join fee of 99 linden. As a Cureless group member you’ll get group gifts and first access to secret sales. Just behind the information desk is where you’ll find all the current group gifts. I counted 18 currently available gifts at this time. The gifts range from a unisex fur shawl to a tattoo set of surgery marks. There are also several sets of cool eyes up for grabs. I’d love to tell you about each of these gifts, but we’d be here all weekend. lol
Fab Free Group Gift
There is also of course the free group gift for Fabulously Free in SL group members at Cureless. The lovely Aline showed it off in her post “Part of Something Bigger” which is really well worth the read. The gorgeous iridescent-like pale purple gown is free for all Fab Free in SL group members. You’ll find it waiting for you right next to the Cureless group gifts.
Sizes Included: Maitreya Lara, Slink Hourglass, Hourglass Petite
Other Freebies and Fab Finds
Cureless did participate in Fifty Linden Friday this week, which I know is almost over, Eeep! The FLF find at Cureless is a set of dragon themed face scars/markings for just 50 linden. The set comes in Omega appliers and BOM.
Hello Fabulouses! Since Ripley and I found some fantastic hunt prizes lately, we decided to hit the trail once again. This time, we set out along the Quoth the Raven Hunt path. Over at Little 2 Large, we discovered this fabulous gown, and it only cost 1 little Linden dollar, plus a bit of searching time. On the wall of the shop, you’ll find a hunt poster, which contains a helpful hint in case you get stuck.
With Many a Flirt and Flutter, In There Stepped a Stately Raven
The stately raven over at Little 2 Large actually brought *more* than just the gown in my picture. In addition to a splendid frock, you’ll also receive male and female Dinkies outfits (Dinkies are these absolutely adorable mesh kitty avatars that you may have seen around the grid), a coordinating Nevermore men’s suit, and a petite Nevermore mini dress. The additional prizes are no transfer, but if your man happens to come along with you on the hunt, for just 1 more Linden dollar, you can look all matchy-matchy. As you can see from my picture, the gown starts out black at the bodice, but transitions into a soft gray texture, which reminded me of watercolors. I really love the intricate black lace that adorns the sexy, full length slits in the skirt as well as the generous hemline. The “sleeves” on the bodice resemble black feathers, and the package also included shoulder feathers that I opted not to wear. For just a dollar, this fabulous hunt prize will have you all set up for formal fall parties, whether you have a classic or a mesh body avatar.
Sizes and Mesh Body Compatibility:
Fitmesh in XS, S, M, L, XL (includes alpha layer)
Ripley has taken to growling at that beguiling Raven, for that bird (to quote from Poe himself):
“…never flitting, still is sitting, STILL is sitting…
just above my chamber door…”
I’d better see if I can help the pupster escape unharmed from “The Raven.” Until next time, happy hunting!
Hello Fabulouses! I’m just flitting in with a sprinkling of pixie dust to turn you into a magical fairy like me. My entire avatar, from head to toe, is a prize in The World Fairy Hunt, which is going on right now over at Brii Underground. Hidden throughout the store are 10 complete outfits with clothes, shoes, and accessories – all for just 5 Linden dollars each. You’ll be searching for a fairy house, and the best part is, they are super easy to find. In case you get stuck, you can click the sign in the store to pick up a note card with helpful hints. Although I am showing the tiny fairy avatar, there are plenty of outfits for full sized avis as well – there’s something for everyone in this hunt.
Put on Your Fairy Wings!
The Aguane Fairy Avatar includes a full body alpha, this adorable shape, wings, dress, ribbons and flowers. You wear the outfit all at once, so you cannot mix and match the clothing items, but I was totally ok with that since the final look is simply magical. With big blue eyes, the tiniest pointy ears and delicate wings, this outfit will have you ready for role play in an instant. No pixie dust required, but hey it was fun to toss the glittery stuff around!
Aguane Fairy Avatar Shape
Complete outfit which includes skin, eyes, hair and all items worn in picture
Well, I’m off to do some important fairy business. The first thing on my list is to sprinkle some magical powder onto Ripley so he can fly just like the dog Nana in Peter Pan. Until next time, happy hunting!
