While many of our bloggers love standing out in formal wear in the snow, I’d rather have a tropical feel. Welcome to my (pretend) home in Le Chateau Keys where the sun shines year round. Well, at least most of the time. I was looking for a sim Beachy used in a few posts. I couldn’t find it. Instead I found this cool sim that evokes memories of one of my all time favorite TV shows in the 80s, Miami Vice.
So Many Calendars
If you’ve been following the FabFree blog, you might have seen that the 12 Days Advent calendars are up & running. One of my favorites is at Jumo. When you land outside the store you’ll notice large boxes. Some have ornaments in them. By Christmas there will be more out. No group is required to get these gifts. Each day a new ornament is set out and the gift inside is totally free!
My dress, Johana, is the Advent gift for December 15th. It’s a very pretty lace dress with ribbons at the waist and a high slit over the front of both legs. It leaves you mostly covered. In addition to the dress you’ll find 11 different color huds giving you many options. The only issue I found is that I wasn’t able to recolor the string to the same navy color. Aside from that the dress fit my Maitreya Lara body perfectly. For those of you with older mesh bodies you’ll love Johana!

I worked on picking up the Lelutka 12 Days of Christmas gifts. I made a huge dent but still have more stores to visit. One of the stops is at Warpaint (I LOVE that name for make-up!). The Bliss eyeshadows are baked on mesh in a range of metallic hues. To get the gift you must join the free group (not sure if the group will remain free after the 12 days have passed).
Another trip I made on the Lelutka 12 Days of Christmas was for makeup at Top1 Salon. There I joined the free group and also picked up the group gifts. One of them is the HD Xmas Lelutka Evox Applier. It comes with 20 different shades of pink, red, bronze, and brown.
The Sintiklia store has a brand new layout & look. And even more group gifts are out. The Candy style I’m wearing today is one of those. The gift is free with a $99L group join fee.

It’s here, and lots of us love it, and some of us not so much, but it’s here to stay, so let’s celebrate it! Just Because created a new group gift this month, with 2K PBR textures, and they’re gorgeous and light reflecting and shimmery and lovely! It has a full fatpack of colors too. Now, if you’re not using a PBR enabled viewer, you will only see the dress as white, but if you are using one, the magic unfolds. It’s sized for:

The Just Because group is currently 300L to join, I had joined last December for her advent calendar. Maybe you did too?
Depending on the EEP, the black texture of this dress varies between a shimmery navy blue and black, which was perfect for the new hat I got over at Poison Rouge, the group gift for July. It’s black with a navy sash, resizable, and comes in 2 versions, one with feathers and one without. Of course, I had to use the feathery one! Many of you may have joined Poison Rouge during SL21B Shop&Hop as her group was free and she gave out credit. She makes a lot of hats and some very beautiful dresses. The group is usually 100L to join but might be free through today, as the SL21B Shop&Hop ends today at noon, and she put her group free for that event. Hurry! She’s very generous and consistent with gifts for her members!
Speaking of feathers
Sad news for all of us who like to walk on the dark side now and again, the store Cinphul is closing in world and will be on MP only. She has wonderfully dark and gruesome designs, and I had seen these shoes and bag for an event, but couldn’t afford them. Because she’s closing her in-world store, she’s having a massive 75% off everything sale, so I poppped over so fast to pick these up (they were still too expensive to blog for Fab Free). However, they’re so unique and there’s bound to be things in her store now that fall under 75L I wanted to mention the sale. The sale runs until August 3rd.
