Do-do-doin the Dot, woah, DeJaaVu!

So…I have said it a number of times, I’m sure, I love polka dots. Now, if I haven’t said it to you all, well, I sure thought it a lot, cause I do. You just have to ask my Mom, who dislikes polka dots…so I tease her about the cute things I find that are covered in polka dots! I’m so mean. Anywho….what is better than finding a cute freebie that has one of my favourite patterns all over it? Finding a hunt specifically for said pattern. That’s right, a hunt full of polka dots, called Do the Dot!! I plan to show you a few of the prizes over a couple posts, and while all the things I have gotten are really nice, I think the dress I am starting off with is one of my favourites.

The offering from [ DeJaaVu ]  is the Samiya dress in Blue. It is a gorgeous mesh dress, in all the standard sizes, and I can’t say this enough, I love the colour combination of the material. The texture is really nicely done, with lovely little details such as seaming under the breasts and on the edges of the sleeves. Those little things sure make a dress feel complete. All items in the Do the Dot Hunt are free, so all you need to do is find the little black and white polka-dotted ball hidden somewhere in the [DeJaaVu ] store. The organizer’s of the hunt have kindly put up a page with hints and slurls, as well as preview pictures of the gifts. and because I am so nice, I will give you the address., HERE. [DeJaaVu ] is store #42, so you will need to scroll down a bit. The hunt runs until Aug 31, so you have plenty of time. I had to take a closer picture of this dress for you all, I hope you can make out the details I mentioned.

The Frozen Hunt

The Frozen Hunt started November 1, and let me just start by saying this one is a big one! There are over 130 participating stores, and the hunt gifts are all winter themed (inspired the new Disney Movie “Frozen”). The gifts range from Clothing for women, men, and kids to household items, textures and poses. There really is something in this hunt for everyone! I decided to focus on clothing, because that is what I enjoy! Even though this is just a small sample, I have a lot to show you, so here we go! Enjoy!
