Hold Up

Goodness, this Friday has taken a long time to arrive. There’s nothing like a short week to make the week feel long. I don’t know why that’s so but it is. But now the weekend is here and I’m a happy girl.

Spoiled

The first thing I want to tell you about is a free gift at Spoiled for group members. To be more specific, the gift is a free 400L giftcard for members of the free to join group. This giftcard has been out for a little while and today’s notice says that it will only be available for two more days. Best make haste. I used mine to purchase this fun bunny dress for 279L aka free with my giftcard plus some to spare. I picked the purple color and each color comes with a HUD to change the bunny outline and inner ear color. Spoiled has a cool gamer girl vibe and is such a fun place to shop, don’t miss out! The Truth

There is much ado over at Truth, and with good reason. Truth is celebrating 19 years in SL with a 50% off sale! That in itself is big news but wait, there’s more. The group join fee is currently cut in half as well, and there is a teaser in the notices about a new free group gift coming soon. In anticipation, I threw on a past free group gift from the huge wall of free gifts in the store. Cupcake is one of my favorites, and the gift includes a full fatpack of styles and colors. It is currently unsurprisingly hard to get onto the Truth sim, but keep trying because the sale is fab, the discounted group join is fab, and of course all of the past group gifts are fab.

I’m kind of feeling like a post-apocalyptic ballerina right now.  I don’t know what that means, but I don’t think anyone would dare mess with a ballerina who wears spikes.  They’re tough enough without the spikes, if you ask me.

Shy Little Frog

I think I found Toadstool in world because I saw an ad for a store named Fairiebum, and I wanted to go check it out.  Fairiebum is a store for child avatars, with crayon face scribbles and Toddledoo clothes, not what I was looking for (but the stuff is super cute).  Around the corner though, is Toadstool, a store I know well because they make all the adorable mushroom and flower hats I have blogged from Marketplace and events.  So, wander in I did, and I didn’t leave disappointed.

Froggo friend

Immediately in front of me when I walked in the store is a panel with group gifts.  A quick check that the group was free to join, and I went shopping. 😉   I was reminded of a song I heard on an Indie radio channel at some point, and so I took my froggo friend to the forest in the moonlight for a song and a stroll.  I don’t normally wear a dolly dress and pink cowboy accessories for a walk in the forest, but that’s what SL is for!  These are the free gifts in my picture:
