Some Things Never Change

Phew wee y’all, I am on the struggle bus. I dare say I’m driving the struggle bus, it’s that serious. I really need to get my act together for Advent. It’s the most wonderful time of the year, after all! But this post is not about Advent. No, it’s not even about me dragging myself off of the struggle bus. What’s it about, you ask?

Comfortable

I’m showing off one of my favorite things, a new skin! Correction, a new FREE skin. There are group gifts to be had at Ives Beauty. There are also a few more skins and a few lipsticks and they’re all lovely. I’m wearing Ingrid and it comes in Velour tones, with and without eyebrows. She’s so pretty and well made and just the kind of face I go for. The Ives Beauty group is free to join, but I feel like I saw somewhere that it’s only free temporarily. Better not sleep on this one. Once you’ve joined the group all of the group gifts are also free.

And then of course, I needed to dress myself. I knew that the Cosmopolitan Event would have my back. That’s because there are always two free gifts for every round, available at the landing point. Slinky

Choosing the perfect name for a blog post can sometimes be as tricky as piecing together the ideal outfit. But sometimes, inspiration strikes unexpectedly. When my mind hit a roadblock in naming an image, I turned to my husband for a spark of creativity. His immediate response, “Slinky Without The Spring,” left me intrigued. It encapsulated the essence of the photo I shared, capturing the fluidity and grace of the moment. Thus, “Slinky” became the fitting title, mirroring the confidence I felt.

Planetary

One of my favorite shopping events in Second Life is Planet 29.  It’s may not be as well known as the big shopping events, but it is full of some of my favorite designers on the grid.  Well, it’s Planet 29‘s 3rd anniversary and they are celebrating in style!  Not only do the designers have free gifts for everyone, there’s also a free hunt!  We wanted to get this post out ASAP to you, because while Planet 29 is open until December 22nd, the hunt itself ENDS on December 5th, so you must hurry!

Out of this world!

I’m showing you a combination of things from both the anniversary gifts and the hunt today.  The package for both looks the same, but the hunt gifts are in a black package and hidden, while the anniversary gifts are in a white package and in most of the vendor booths.  You only need to join the free Planet 29 group to collect both, and you have to do a fair bit of hunting 😉
